Any Jow Forums related spurdos or gondolas?
Who here /nofriends/?
I started lifting once I got to uni, cause of the free gym, cause I'm tired of being skinny, but more importantly cause I have no friends. I don't want to be on of the fat, ugly, retard loners, I want to be known as
>That one buff guy who eats alone
There's a couple of those at my campus, and I want to be like that. I don't want to be grouped with the fat kids who wear COD shirts.
No friends, also a 24 year old junior. I've honestly stopped caring. As you get older you stop getting hung up on the college experience and start seeing freshman as literal children. I'll look for friends when I'm in the work force I guess.
>Leleiko
It's truly the small things that make the difference.
Are you a virgin? Has your lifting helped you get girls? This is something I'm concerned about since I can't use friends to network, but also I'm not too worried about losing my virginity. I just hope I don't regret it later.
I don't know who made these, but these have always been my favorite wojacks. They really capture the feeling in a way that hits far too close to home for me.
>tfw 5'10 manlet
Lifting will make me desirable though, right?? Right?
That's literally my life M-S, except I take bus to work.
The feels are too real, man. Lectures are tough to meet people in and the rest is the commute.
I'll be your friend, user.
I'm from the place where Wojak became a meme yeeears ago and I want to ask, how do you all pronounce it? Like whoa-jack?
Because it's actually supposed to be voh-yak, it's Polish for warrior. Just curious.
wo-jack not whoa-jack

I don't know what it is about these pictures but I sincerely think they're artful. They have an effect on me like no other meme pic.

No, it's a distinct spiritually quality which these pictures have. You can tell they were made by the same creator
This may seem too "airy", describing things in terms of "spiritual qualities", but the emotional gestalt of these pictures is formed by a complex mix of elements, and no selection of particular features can summarize its effect.
The principal source of the emotional impact, however, is the tension between abstract style, and a choice of material objects, which are portrayed as *strewn*, evoking images of modern life as a *wasteland* (cf. Eliot's poem) where personal objects are conceived as trash, ephemeral, just like their owners.
The undisputed masterpiece is of course user's first picture in his tetraptych which can be named simply "Bed". We could remark on the dull grey-brown color scheme, but I would rather point out the objects in the room (note the absence of any other human form than Wojack, and the way in which objects substitute themselves for people as sources of characterization.)
The Wojack of "Bed", is surrounded by functional objects, but they are of little interest to him. Even the object in his hand is held in studied disinterest, as he holds it laxly, staring ahead of himself. Earphones, too, lie limp on his neck, again the object is treated disinterestedly.
Contrast Wojack's stare off frame with pic related, "Wanderer Above The Mist", the archetypal painting of the Romantic spirit of exploration and idealism. Wojack and the Wanderer share a discontented, explorative gaze, away from the material world and towards an ideal. Yet where the Wanderer looks forward, into nature, Wojack looks at what can be nothing other than a wall. This is the story which user tells in this series, the story of the Romantic spirit of exploration, trammeled by and crushed under spiritually vacant modern surroundings, and reduced to a purely material being.
No picture can sum up the life of most people on this board, quite as succinctly.
It really do be like that tho
Surprisingly good post.
/fitbiz/
If this is his life then what is he doing it for? What's the purpose for all the work put in?
To be better than he was yesterday
ty user
i hope you have a nice day
A+ interpretation user. Thanks for making my morning a little less dull than usual
Pro tip: you will not get laid, and you will regret it later.
t. 4th year of undergrad, been lifting with no friends since 1st year, haven't even come close to sniffing a vagene
because life is struggle. it never ends. so why not at least be able to be proud of yourself with good reason?
only one I have
(kinda old)
I don't think they're made by the same creator. At least one of them () is obviously distinct from the others. I think that one is an imitation.
I'm no artfag, so excuse me for being ignorant of the proper terms, but you can definitely see the progression of skill in each of the other images. You can almost establish a timeline for the creation of each using common aspects, setting, and relative complexity.
For example, there's a consistent and unknown source of artificial light in each of the ones that I think are by the same artist that ties them together. I'm not one to readily interpret anything of substance because I think that it says more about the interpreter than the art or the artist but if I had to do so, it suggests to me that "the light is on" and, combined with the blatant disinterest/pensiveness, that "no one is home". If I were to guess at the chronology of them, I would guess that it's in an order something like this:
The reason I guess that is the first one, which I know is pretty old because I think I saved it in 2013-2014 when I was still in school, is pretty unrefined apart from a few elements that seem to define the subject, if not the entire piece.
I have more to say about the rooms (dorm room, dorm room colored, apartment door, apartment living room), the three-dimensionality and the complexity that separates the imitation, and the evolution of shadowing and product placement but I have to go take care of my dog and I have the attention span of a goldfish. Toodles.
p.s. I could have the last two backward in that list. 16 and 38 could be switched.
Does he look proud? To me, it looks like he knows he's chosen to walk down a path and has lost any idea what his original intentions were, or what that final end goal is, or if it will ever come.
Tfw 5'7 not even lifting and got tall amazonian gf
this is what peak aesthetics look like.
I want to see a video montage of wojack doing a daily Jow Forums routine with a synthwave soundtrack.
Preferably with no interaction with other humans, but there's other people around ignoring him.
Similar to the simpsonswave videos on YouTube.
