How are my bearmode bros doing? Let's share some knowledge about bulking for bearmode. Judging we're already talking about an experienced lifter, from the intermediate to advanced range, what should be the caloric surplus? 200 to 300kcal?
Since the last thread I've been doing Farmer Walks about three times per week and my grip strength is improving quickly, hope it translates into looking like a brick shithouse.

i'm about to finish my first year of lifting, and losing faith in bearmode. currently at 16% bodyfat and i have slightly visible abs and a noticeably puffier face

i think i'll just cut a little and stay around 13% bodyfat since i don't seem to have the genetics to pull this off

I'm up to 3x3x135 kg bench now. Next weel I'll start with 140 kg sets. I'm also working with 180 kg squat sets and 220 kg deadlifts. I can do more, but I squat and deadlift on the same day, so that affects it a bit.

Also just got a pay raise, and I'm one exam and half a Masters thesis away from graduating. Life is good. There's a chunk of entrecote in my fridge that i'll sink into red wine tomorrow, then slow roast on Saturday. I am just giving you an example. Bearmode=muscular and fat. You are just looking to be built and not particularly shredded, which is a reasonable goal, but still requires a caloric surplus of 500. Of course you will still be eating proportionally less than your novice self since your workouts will probably be less calorie-burning.

Bloatmaxxing is an entirely different concept. You would need 2000 kcal at least for that.

hard to say. I mean you're gonna be bigger than you would be otherwise if you use them correctly, but the cost and potential side effects are pretty daunting if you think about it. Nothing will make you have a big skeleton tho.
