Sips are genuinely a good preworkout. The white monsters. Otherwise, I use a tub of Watermelon Shatter I stole from the locker room once.
Most pre is about the same nonsense, you're probably wasting your time and money shopping around too much. I personally just take straight caffeine pills, much cheaper and does the trick just as well.
there is some chinese bathtub chemical in my pre workout that makes my head tingle and give me a better than normal pump. what should be in a pre workout other than caffeine?

More caffeine than sips, has other caffeine potentiating substances and no carbs
Coffee is also good, sometimes I put butter or coconut oil to make it extra filling
Other choice is ephedrine stack, (search ECA stack online) it's like legal meth depending on your country, great for cardio runners high but addictive

Yeah sips will rip your stomach up though. just take 200mg caffeine, 200mg L Theanine, and 500mg B5 30mins before you start your workout.
I'm done. It's not much different from black coffee, honestly. Only difference was feeling jittery/accelerated at the beginning of my workout. Chugging an equivalent amount of coffee would probably do that to me too

Best pre-workout is a scoop of creatine, a few sips (or gulps if you're tired) of an energy drink, and a lot of water to rehydrate after the creatine does its thang.

OP, you asked a question and I'll actually give you an answer. Out of all the preworkouts I've tried, this is pretty good. Although the best are all the original formulas that had 1,3-DMAA. Unfortunately, those are banned now.

Have you tried it? What's your personal verdict on it? I've thus far tried original Jack3d and Mesomorph; both were absolutely amazing.
I have never even tried DMAA desu.
Recently I wanted to try it and realized nearly everything got rid of it. Apparently Mesomorph got rid of it and has something similar now.
It seems quite expensive -- 30 servings for $35 -- but I'm tempted to try it.
The best way to get pre-workout in terms of cost seems to be buying the ingredients and making it all. However, I'm not sure where to buy DMAA besides through Alibaba and that seems sketchy.
