Currently 18 years old, and still don't have a license yet

im gonna make this post just to point out how it would be physiologically impossible for a flea to obtain a driving license

I kinda have a fear for driving.

It's only noticeable whenever I'm learning new things.

In places with good public transport systems(like bigger cities,) it's not a super big deal if you have a license or not, but around the more rural parts where I am if you don't have one by 18/19 then you're considered a weird motherfucker. The tests are literally designed for morons to pass.

In my own experience, waiting til you're 18/19 is better, since you can just take the written test, pass, then take the driving exam and it's done, whereas if you're 15-and-however-many-months you can take drivers' ed, which sounded like a huge hassle.

I'm 28 and don't have a drivers license. Live in a small city too. You don't need a license if you never go anywhere.

I'm 18 and I haven't got a license. I don't have a license because I have no money and I have no money because I can't get a job. I applied for literally everything in the area(whether I'm qualified of not) and everywhere either rejected it or didn't respond. I would ask my parents for money if they weren't in major financial trouble so yeah no license for me. I guess I'm destined for NEET life

as far as I know 18 is the minimum driving age so I have no idea why you are whining

with me its more, driving is one of the LEAST safe methods of transport, the feeling of having to put your life into the hands of other drivers as much as your own, the pressure of not messing up and crashing into someone else causing death and so forth. Driving is impossible for me

America is a shit country desu, I go to uni in bongland where they have public transport so it's not an issue at all, but when I'm home I'm pretty much trapped in my house 24/7

I'm 18, failed the test to get L plates and didn't go back.
I keep forgetting to study, but when I rarely do I'm never motivated enough to start.

Got mine when I was 22. I drive a manual car and I drive often enough to remember how but infrequently enough that driving to new places frightens me. My car is a small little thing so it makes it all easier.

It wore off after a bit, but night driving is one of my favorite activities.

I got mine when I was 27 user. I don't even use it though, I don't have a car and I'm scared of driving.

Trust me, you need one if you need a car in your city

your mind will advanced because you are legally allowed to just for a drive, your mind will see and learn new experiences by driving anywhere you want to go

the reason why people get stuck is because they only sit at home and do nothing important

is there a way to learn to drive without needing your parents? I heard you need your own car for the test and need a certain amount of hours with the permit. That is the biggest issue otherwise i would be down for learning

Yes you have to do it and ask them even though at 18 you are legally an adult

Here's the truth
Parents are pretty dumb when it comes to raising children after the teenage years

If they keep you in a child like state of mind you have a lot to lose the longer time goes on and you haven't developed properly

You have to talk to them and put in some effort, I had a drivers license by 16 and I knew how to drive since 12
My cousins drove even younger than I did

I didn't get my license until I was 27. From the mid-2000s to mid-10s I was unemployed and destitute, couldn't afford the pair of glasses I needed to pass the driver's test, let alone consider getting a car. Took a long time before I had the opportunity to set that in motion.

Thank god I did get it though, that was life-changing.

at least you can just go and get one. i'm 22 and will never get a license because i'm so autistic telling left from right doesn't come to me naturally. i have to stop doing whatever i'm doing and imagine i'm in my old bedroom in which i had two arrows drawn in the wall, one pointing to the left and the other to the right. if i don't do this i just can't tell left from right.
