Depends on your deffinition of fitness, but pro cycling means you have to be a skelly and anything more than a 10" biceps is going to slow you down.
I mean being physically fit and mentally disciplined to follow through with it in general. Basically anything that behooves you from being fit.
Lifting is a hobby m8. Just lift 4 hours a week and go on with your life. Everything is possible.
Is this t-true?
I've been into cycling for the past 6 years and feel like I'm almost ready to sign into an actual race
I'm a bulkier dude with like 16" biceps.
I used my bike as cardio, but loved how fast I can go.
My time and rpms are decent enough, but I don't wanna give it my all and then be cucked by some skelly manlet on a bike half the size of mine
Rock climbing is a superior rest day activity, also hiking and swimming. Try woodworking metalworking too. Since getting into motorcycling I've noticed that takes a bit of physicality, I'm sure even more so off-road.
TLDR go outside and move around you boring cuck.
Define "actual race". I assume you mean an amateur race in which case knock yourself out. But professionals can't afford that- weight is at a premium and they need to be as light and lean as possible. The term "skelly" to describe them is a misnomer, they're more stringy and wiry.
>giving up before trying because you might lose
This is the absolute definition of not-gonna-make-it
Read. Not vapid shit but also not solely philosophy which you'll pretend to understand. Just read, it keeps your mind sharp and the discipline to finish a book and adjusting your mind to find joy in exploring new ideas rather than the instant gratification of finding thrills in just movies/tv or spending money will do wonders for you.
This isn’t necessarily true.
As an endurance athlete you’re training your body to retain glycogen at any cost.
As a skelly, without blood doping, you’re 100% at a loss.
I agree that being huge is bad but it’s more about the function of the muscles you have than the size
Killing minorities.
Drinking, drugs, and watching Rick and Morty
One way ticket to mediocrity
Anorexia
As long as there are no climbs you don't have much of a disadvantage.
During a climb you are fucked and a bunch of skelly manlets are going to drop you during a breakaway.
Your only hope is that the climb isn't steeor high and this breakaway doesn't last.
However small riders tend suck in the flats and you can use your pecs and arms with certain dancing techniques to drop wheelsuckers with a sudden explosive all-out sprint.
drinking
>tfw 1600cals during the week
>6 drinks and a burrito friday night
oof
Cyclists and triathletes are known to eat during races, glycogen therefore is not realy a limiting factor.
A skelly climber simply has the advantage of a better VO2max and power/weight ratio at threshold.
Blood doping also does nothing for glycogen, only for your bodys ability to transport oxygen.
It is pretty much impossible to do nowerdays since UCI has a bunch of blood-tests the not only target hematocrit like back in Lance's day, but the aging of the red blood cells and residues of EPO.
In cycling your muscles usualy aren't the limiting factor for your FTP, your heart and lungs are.
You can be able to push >2000W during a sprint and still loose against some skelly that barely does 1000W on a climb.
Video related, a track sprinter gets dropped like standing still on a climb even with handycap:

THat thing in Korea where they binge eat on YouTube to make money.
>just 4 hours
Never gonna make it.
It's pretty much true for road cyclists, but track cyclists look like monsters
if by fitness you mean lifting (serious lifting) than boxing isn't for you. other martial arts as well I assume but dunno. I combined the two and it made me stiff in the ring, like your shoulders get tense. maybe it was just me tho.
Not at all what he asked.
having a high performance job
Read the OP next time before rambling on with random shit, retard haha
Programming. I feel to exhausted to think after workout.
>Not stretching during the cooldown.
It's like you don't even want your blood to keep flowing during your metabolic window and retain range of motion.
Programming in general requires you to shut yourself off from the world. Not everyone can live the life of a programmer
He asked what wouldn’t work u should try reading a bit more yourself faggot
Probably just you, weightlifting and judo are working fine for me.
>behooves you from being fit.
Do you often use words wrong?

Heavyweight boxing is great.
Literally none of you read the OP's post.

What exactly is retarded about this?
Why not?
Alcohol is ok in moderation.
>4hrs
Hope you mean per arm
That's just called an OMAD dirty bulk, user.
kek
I beg to differ
Regular partying. Even if you're in the gym daily you can only hold off the effects of heavy alcohol/hard drug usage for so long before your body falls apart. Getting retarded like once a month is tolerable but if you do it every weekend you're gonna pay for it.
Me too, I work 12 hrs a day, gym 2 hours a day, and game 3 hours a day. It's perfect who needs a social life.
haha yes
haha.. I do all of that except gym hah

Everyone here is a retard who couldn't grasp OP's post. No wonder Jow Forums is full of mongs.
