People make fun of me for wearing one to my minimum wage job but I don't care.

Would be beneficial in a fight if taking punches to the torso, what muscles do there work? Back? Fuck the normies at your work too, I'd like to see them wear a weighted vest for a day.

I can't afford one right now

How is this different from just wearing a backpack witb pl8s in it?

I have two and been training with them since almost 3 years

Don't care about people making fun of you. It's not a meme. You will be gradually working everything that keeps you active with this on. You get the advantage of naturally working out your legs and core without the downside of being fat.

More even weight distribution

Backpack on both sides duh

Doesnt do jack shit. Might fuck with your joints though

*fucks your posture*

Show me one example. Meanwhile from weightlifting there are countless examples

dude, only use a vest for your workouts, you will snap your shit

Nah you're right. Extra constant compression on your spine, knees, feet, etc. has to be good. That's why fat fucks have such healthy joints

I've gotten good results from a weighted vest before, but I was doing infantry operations and not flipping burgers so your mileage may vary.

I have one built in because I am fat, lel
slowly losing weight now, looking foward to putting my lifelong gains to use

> wearing a bullet proof west for work out of fear of being shot by one of 300 million armed retards

Wait you don't actually believe that this weight vest is worn 24/7?

top kek mutt

>wears it during a work shift
>8 hours of constant extra compression is good for you!!!
Please fuck off. Not a single person with an ounce of knowledge about the human body would recommend wearing a weighted vest outside of doing pull ups or dips with

>wearing it the whole day
>wearing it 8 hours
Just wear it during the workout you dumb mutt. Are you seriously this retarded

>Not a single person with an ounce of knowledge
Show me a person with an ounce of knowledge (i.e. not you) that advised against it.

Congratulations on your absolute zero understanding of adaptation physiology, your unnecessary impact on your knee joints, and your total arrogance regarding these things.

OP, i'm sorry, but DBZ isn't real.

Read the OP, dip shit. The guy wears it for his whole work shift.
There are plenty of articles advocating against wearing a weight vest outside of actual training or for longer periods of training. Use one for explosive training or to add weight to normally bodyweight exercises. That's all they're good for otherwise you risk injury and fucking up your posture

a weighted vest is actually bad for your mental health
the added weight limits your ability to take flight from potential threat, which increases unconcious stress

>taking the op seriously
how new are you

>Just wear it during the workout
Why not just lift more weight instead? Why do you have to complicate everything?

I work out in the forest

Weighted vest should be reserved for calisthenics, not daily wear

Been here long enough to recognize a poor attempt at backpedaling when someone realizes they're fucking retarded

What's a good brand?

I use a weight vest once a week for a 3.5 mile run. There's really no significant benefit or reason to do it, I just personally have a military test coming up in which a candidate must run with a weight vest on.

>not throwing your 45 lbs weighted vest in a dramatic gesture after trading a couple of punches with another person in a street fight
>*smirk* now fight me at my full level

This guy gets it. Though the right weights might be an advantage in a street fight.

wont that extra weight make you shorter?

Doesn't that put strain in the lower back?

Just wear a plate carrier with plates; practical and has more than one use

da fuq

Does this count?
