Meat is the most efficient way to get protein, calories and vital nutrients. I don't understand why anyone would try to get protein from plants when it's so available in animals.

I thought it was a potentially good way to detox until I learned about fasting. I also thought you could 'train your gut flora' until I found out more about prebiotics and probiotics. Some of the recipes you see are all right as a side dish.

Everything is tasty with enough salt, fat, and MSG. Most restaurants also lie about flavorings used in vegan dishes.
A lot of people have trouble getting enough iron just while eating meat, try people who have low metabolism and only eat vegetables lol

I tried a vegan diet but after about a month I noticed that I'm not as strong as I used to be even though my weight did not change, for some reason my nose was always stuffy and I would wake up in the middle of the night because I couldn't breath through the nose which sucked a lot and I would wake up tired.
Once I went back to getting most of my protein from meat, the stuffy nose issue went away and so I abandoned the idea of ever going vegan again.

zinc iron and calcium are all more present in greens (broccoli or spinach) than animal foods.
Also what's wrong with supplements? I take a multivitamin just to be safe but I never had any problems when I wasn't taking anything.

I have an idea: why don't you just lower your meat intake and eat more veggies, but still eat both, eating slightly more veggies than meat?
By having to eat less meat you can research what companies treat animals in a less shit way than others, additionally it means you can buy the more expensive shit because you're eating less of it in the first place.
You meat better quality meat, from places where they don't buttfuck animals with spiked dildoes, you eat more veggies than you used to, everything works out.

veganfag for 10+ years here. Yes, most vegans are retarded. Unfortunately, the diet attracts a lot of mentally ill people. That does not mean it does not have benefits though.
I believe it's the healthiest way of eating, and I am doing it mostly for that (not that I don't like animals and everything, but that's a secondary concern). That said, there's a ton of unhealthy shit out there that people need to avoid. For a general guideline, avoid processed sugars and fats, and stay with the starchy foods.
For those 10 years, I've been both lean and fat. Weak and strong too. Being vegan by itself will not help you achieve your health or fitness goals. You need more than that (eat healthy vegan meals and exercise!). Many people don't do it and go with the "oh, but I'm vegan" cope. That's how you get abominations like fatgayvegan.com. Don't be that person!
