I am a tubist. Yay

I don't understand "freedom"

No RP'ing as fembots on this board. Fuck off

How'd you get into that? Quite unheard of

No.

I'm learning keyboard. Would learn piano but I'm not a millionaire sadly

how long did it take you to get decent at it? I have a guitar and bass but I lack the patience to practise

NO ROLEPLAYING AS FEMBOTS. REEEEEEEEEE

I used too play the violin and piano and flute when I was a kid/teen. Then I didn't touch an instrument for 10+ years and forgot everything and had to learn it all again so I play the keyboard very poorly. I also make bleep bloops in FL Studio.

I'm not good at all since I've been playing for only a month or 3. But I started out with simple stuff like Feel Good Inc and Iron Man. My favorite thing to play is Money by Pink Floyd, though

You could get cheap pianos on craigslist or something though

It is the safest spot on the whole map. Almost nothing gets there, so not many fights. Good place to recover

Guitar and bass. Drum programs.

I make my own music and will release a new Black metal album and send 100 copies to complete random people.

Links? I love me some black metal

I play bass guitar. It's easier than guitar.

If this thread survived 7 hours i will send link to zippy with ma music.

And you can have your own copy to. I have 50 copies for Anons.

If you are playing in a band
yes
If you are solo
hellno

I used to play trombone and baritone in a military band, was pretty comfy. Haven't played for years though.

I don't have direct experience obviously but it usually takes about 1 year to get the basics down solid. You might get frustrated at your progress but it's important to practice every day, even if it's just for like 5 or 10 minutes. Get a method book and do one or two exercises from there and then practice a song you want to learn.

Guitar, harmonica, banjo, and ukulele. Although counting uke is kind of cheating since I can only play it in low G, and it's tuned the same as a guitar with a capo on the fifth fret anyway. And banjo isn't really impressive because I can only play it in open G, bluegrass style, where it practically plays itself; playing it in C tuning is legitimately hard, and I sure as hell can't do it.

Believe in yourself user, you can do it

Hope it survives for that long

I believe a fundamental trait for any real artist is a comprehensive understanding of how badly you suck and why, and a belief that no one will ever love you until you stop sucking. That's what spurs you on to keep improving. Or do a lot of drugs and die.

A musician can go either way, or eventually both ways.

I played the Cello growing up.
