Fat, lazy and pathetic

Im 20 yo male, 88 kg fat. How tf do you put in all the hard work for something that rewards you much much later?

I feel like I have zero persistence. I ordered from eBay a month ago the first time because I always thought 1 month is an eternity. I can do stuff like clean my room, but it seems like even if I eat well after a few days I get frustrated and tired of it, I cant keep it up. Its bad because time passes but im still fat.

How did you guys do it? I get frustrated thinking how much energy and time its going to take.

Day by day. You can't think about how far you have to go. Live in the moment

You have to learn the difference between short-term happiness and long-term happiness

>How tf do you put in all the hard work for something that rewards you much much later?
You just gotta love it. It's a passion. Some people have that passion, and some people don't. If you feel like being fat and having health complications, is more you, then go live your dream, man - I got this.

>when you can lift 15 kg instead of 10
>when you can lift 20 kg instead of 15
>when you can lift 25 kg insteed of 20

no better feeling user .. and no joke if you keep it up for more then 3 month you are like stronger then 80% of the world population
'
also i recommend using fitnotes to keep track of your progress

LOL FUCK YOU ... i went to the gym 4 times in my life before i fully found why is it so great so don't talk about that passion bullshit

Get some appetite suppressants and just do basic endurance training and cardio, easy as pie

Same as everybody says. Day by day. Don't think too far ahead except to plan what you're doing today. I'm a fat lazy fuck but I'm down 40 pounds after a few months. You just have to muster the strength to be better and learn to persevere because it's the only way you can make it. There is no second option.

Yeah, but you had it in you to go to the gym four times in the first place.

It's just that I see all these wannabe try-hards trying to "stay motivated", listening to "motivational music", trying to hate themselves for being fat, and thinking about the girls they want, et cetera, and I don't need any of that. I'm just motivated all the time, and I just think it's a waste of your life to do something that you don't want to do.

I think the error these people are making, is that they get told that they HAVE to lift, and so they become these feminine victims of lifting, instead being given the option and feeling that they WANT to lift. You're not a real man if you feel like you HAVE to lift.

>You're not a real man if you feel like you HAVE to lift.

Children's do things because they want to, adults do things because they have to

I find it's the other way around:
Mature men do things because they want to. They understand the benefits of doing someting, without being told what to do.
Women, on the other hand, rarely really mature, so they're an exception.

i was legitimately considering your point until i read that last line

come on bruh , ease up on the red pill

Our gender is supposed to guide the women.

ehhh whateve man, each to its own i guess

personally i don't want to some lead-follower relationship i prefer to find someone who is complete opposite of me to complete me type of shit

idk maybe im romantic fool, anyway enough derailling the thread im done senpai

If you feel that way then it’s just in your genes. If you can’t even see how people do something for a long term goal then you are a failure of a man.

You are a genetic dead end and you will be fat and bitter till the day you die all alone.

>I feel like
Stop right there. Go to the gym

It doesn't actually take self-control to be in great shape. You can eat whatever you want and as much as you want, just restrict your eating period as much as possible. Obviously it's better to eat healthy food and not eat unhealthy food, but for just losing weight it doesn't matter as much - but try to eat a whole bunch of spinach with whatever you do decide to eat (just blanch it and get it down you). Exercise isn't necessarily 'fun', but you should attempt to stimulate your sympathetic nervous system, which is in itself an enjoyable experience. Do cardiovascular exercise on an empty stomach (without having eaten that day), anything from 20 minutes mid-high intensity to endurance exercise. You gotta get intense when you exercise, get pumped up and make it a powerful experience for your body and mind. Get yourself into an emotional state. If you're lifting, just do one or two exercises at maximum intensity. Don't depressingly grind out an hour or two at the gym.

It's not that you have bad habits, it's that your bad habits are dumb. If you were smart you'd learn how to eat shitty food that gives you dopamine hits, without compromising your weight loss. Instead you eat bland as fuck food, with few calories per meal, all spaced out as much as possible in the day. I can eat whatever I want because my eating period is very short, and most days I do want to eat healthy food so I end up getting ripped and healthy anyway. I fucking hate eating in the morning or afternoon, having an empty stomach makes you feel more virile and energetic. Once I've eaten in the evening I just chill out and do whatever, no stress. None of it takes any effort, although sure it takes a while to get used to, just gradually adjust to it. If I get hungry early I just eat, don't give a shit, like today - but one day makes fuck all difference anyway.

Some people are extremely disciplined, and that's how they do it, but if you're not that then don't try to copy them. Just be smarter.

Maybe you’d benefit by watching the joe rogan david goggins interview

Do a strength program like Starting Strength or Stronglifts. The positive feedback from becoming stronger in a quick amount of time is a great motivator. Plus, you can set concrete, , obtainable goals to keep you pushing forward.

Comprehensive advice right here:

Diet:
- Remove shit food like anything over 70% carbs from your house and dont buy it. If you dont buy it you cant eat it. This includes any sort of sweets that aren't fruit.
- Drink 3 coffees a day, preferably all before 2pm so it doesnt fuck with your sleep too much. This will decrease appetite and increase motivation.
- whatever workout plan you do, increase your weight 2.5kg / 5 lb unless you fail before the last set. If you do, stay on that weight. You should very easily be able to increase at this rate for squat, deadlift, bench and clean. If you want i have an excel spreadsheet that will calculate as many weeks in advance as you like.

Bonus advice (but do what you want if you enjoy it more): Start with 3 sets of 5 reps for everything except shoulder press which should be 5 sets of 3 reps.
