pls

symptoms?

Im pretty sure thyroid disease isn't even a real thing it's just a meme doctors use when people want an excuse when they're fat and/or depressed

>thyroid
>apparently located in your Adam's apple

Shit is 100 percent bullshit

try and get TPO antibodies checked right away
are you a post menopausal woman? if not it's likely autoimmune hasimotos. if that's the case i'm willing to bet it's being caused by intestinal permeability.

Yes you take medication you fucking retard. The absolute state of amerifats having absolutely no clue about anything health related

do u take supps like ashwagandha? ash can fuck ur thyroid. if not, better get on some meds boyo

is this srs?

If you do have hypothroidism you retard, and you're a young guy or girl, it is most likely caused by Hashimotos autoimmune thyroiditis.
In that case, they'll place you on thyroxine, which is just normal thyroid hormone until your T3 and T4 levels are back to normal range.
Paradoxically, never trust anything medical related to fit, everything in this thread is complete BS

>but i trust fit more

Until you get on meds probably best to try and be aware of how you feel, how often you get hungry. If your thyroid is going slower you need to eat less calories, but your appetite should be decreased anyway so it shouldn't be difficult. Maybe take something to help your digestion, like mint pills or get way more fruit and veg fibres. And I guess more caffeine to keep your alert during the day because you'll have less concentration and be more tired in general.

subclinical hypothyroidism, what you have, is usually caused by lifestyle factors.
sleep, diet, stress, non-exercise physical activity, exercise, sunlight, family, friends, partner, air quality, etc.

i was on a half a year cocaine and alcohol binge and gained 25lbs. is this most likely it?

Ashwaghanda balances your thyroid. Nice disinformation faggot

Possible solutions:
>drink milk
>eat fruit

take iodine
and stop eating plants from brassica family
they all have a compound called isothiocyanate and they fuck up your thyroid

but broccoli is the healthiest thing you can eat

docs will literally just give you some shitty meds with worse side effects, so they earn money, they will never give you any good dietary advice besides lose weight and eat healthier

Fuck off, I got 4.92 exactly on TSH last week!

My free T3/4 are perfectly in range though.

I've recently started taking ashwaghanda so wondering if there's a connection

i got low thyroid on my blood work after 1.5 years of a vegan diet
went back to eating eggs and meat and it went back to normal

I got pretty high TSH (6.01), but normal T4, I'm 20yo. Hypothyroidism, subclinical. I'm not overweight or anything (though I have a tendency to depression like many of us here), but it still worries me.

Any other think I can do other than taking iodine?

Also, in july I suddenly developed some shit in my skin. Any small amount of friction or pressure makes it extremely itchy and red. Google 'dermographism'. Could it be some kind of self immune reaction to my fucked up thyroid?

stop eating vegetables (goitrogens)

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I have hypo(underactive) thyroidism and without my medication I become very lethargic, run hot, heart hurts. Proper thyroid levels are extremely important. Also bp 315 and sq 405

wot

4.92 is nothing
I had 303 and it went to the point were my face appeared blue on a infrared cam.
Get your thyroid checked via ultrasound that clarifies its status

Not a meme
My thyroid stopped working nearly completely and i needed to sleep every 6 hours or so and felt like complete shit

Don’t lump us all together fuckwit

By any chance do you have a visible Adam’s apple? I’m thinking of getting my thyroid checked. Something’s not working right with me.

I dont
what does it mean

>303
topkek. so only blood levels dont tell you shit? what did you medicate?

Bloodlevels can be confusing at low tsh levels.
I now take 175mg L-Thyroxine dayly if you mean that

do you need to pin this or simple pills? any side effects?

Its one pill in the morning before breakfast. Side effects just come if your dose is too high/low. You basically supplement the hormone the thyroid would build if it worked correctly

Do fasting to cure your thyriod

do what your doctor says and you can ask him about
>Iodine (take iodine & iodide)
>Tyrosine

Not a meme pal, i had problems with it aswell. it genuinely helps.

fucking retard i've went hypothermic before because my thyroid wasnt working properly

>t. brainlet

Probably deficient in iodine and/or selenium.

Avoiding gluten could help
