How far can you run non-stop?

No e-stats.

I just started running again, I can only run 1km before walking again to re-gain breathing.

What is yours?
What is a good number for heart and overall health?

Probably about 200 yards

duno lol

Depends on running.

9km/h is technically "running", however trained people can maintain like 17km/h for a long period of time.

At 9-10km/h, longest I've gone is about an hour, which is 9-10km. I don't really do cardio though.

im mostly a sprinter but probably if I tried my hardest and went at a slow pace, maybe around 20km?

Depends on the pace. I can do a mile in 6 mins, or I can do 10 miles at a 10 minute pace.

1KM? buddy either you're giving up before actually working or you're fat

2 kilometers or so, and I’m not fat. I just fucking detest cardio with every fibre of my soul, and regularly neglect. My only ”cardio” would come from heavy compound lifting. Pls how 2 change mindset

I run roughly 4 miles non-stop every three days at an average pace of 7min/mile. I could definitely keep going but I have never tried to just see how far I can go. I'm pretty winded at the 7min/mile pace but if I drop it down to 7:15min/mile, my heart read is a steady 170bpm and my breathing stays very steady.

I can do five k without getting winded, but at the same time, I don’t run a lot, just four to five times a week that exact distance when I want to go to the gym. Had a friend of mine think he could keep up and gassed out at 1 and a half k. So we ended up slowing down, he was going drinking though so I dont think he thought it through well. PSA five k’s don’t count. If you a do a five k that’s nothing. Fatties can train lightly, and then do that.

I think Im around 17%bf ( flat abs with arm veins). I was never into running so I only lift weights. But now I start to worry about my cardio health so I started to run. And this is why I want to know other people running capacity.

I strongly believe that any human being who is not ill, fat or a dumb cunt can run for at least 10km without needing to walk.

Just did 2.8miles at a 7:15 pace today, a good portion of it is up a mountain too but my turning point is at the top of the road so regain time running down

Check'd
I could maintain about 5 miles on a 7 min/mi pace. Room for improvement

Understand that what weightlifting is for the body, cardio is for the mind.

I just started running again a week ago. I'm only doing a mile at a time and it isn't very hard. Last time I did this it took three weeks to push from a mile to 3 (painfully). So, I guess, probably about 2-3 miles if I really pushed myself.

A 15 minute mile is a walk. A slow walk.
You walked in a bouncing fashion.

Keep it up

I did 8 Miles this am @ 10 min mile. Not a fast time but when you consider the distance, it’s average.

I have ran a maraton so 42km i guess?

400m

Okay considering I am 65lbs overweight but its still not good so I am going to start running/walking 2 times a week

When I was in high school I ran a sub 5 mile and could probably do a marathon without killing myself too bad, don't know about now though.

or hes never run before, lay off

But is that actually running, or just jogging, because I know a lot of people who can't do that.

Define run
If you mean 10m/h then I can go for about 6 minutes without loosing pace

i can go 20km just drop ur pace when ur tired energy pools up again then you can go faster again after like a minute or two

I've run 15 miles a handful of times with little training. My knees and calves start to break down around there.

Fuck running, I prefer the rowing machine

>no e-stats

nigger do you even know where you are?

I ran a marathon in april so 42km
But im more of a powerliftrr/bodybuilder (94kg)

4.4 miles
probably more outside of just training

My personal record was 7.1 miles in one hour. I could literally wring the sweat out of my shirt after that one. My standard workout is 3 miles in 21-24 minutes. Not too little, not too much.

how fast? I'm in reasonable shape and I feel like I'm dying after a 25 minute 5k.

Make sure you're getting enough sleep and drinking enough water.

The mindset you have to adopt is that of a robot built for running. Ignore time, ignore distance. All you need to remember is that you're programmed to put your left foot forward, then the right. Then repeat thousands of times. Listen to music that you can match to your cadence

im sure nobody really likes the act of running its more of enjoying the battle against yourself because running sucks and you want to quit but you dont because you know you can go further

Based

Goal is a 2900m-3000m cooper test by the end of next month.

I'm at 2660m currently. That's 4:26 minutes per kilometer.

How the fuck should anyone know? Is your condition so abysmal you regularly run to your limit with a slow pace and actually legit just can't run anymore?

Im stocky but probably 20 percent body fat.
Around Christmas I started running 5km one month then increased by 1km every month.
Couldn't run for shit id die after 2km now im doing 10km every day in 45 minutes and my max distance is 20km.
Breath through your nose, inhale for 3 steps and exhale for 3 steps, big deep breaths, slow and steady.
If you cant breath while running or gasp its very painful for your chest.
Ive shedded so much weight im a comfy 31 waist from a 36. 0

I can run throughout the city indefinitely. Waiting and traffic lights and avoiding NPCs is enough to regain my breath.
Real talk tho, I've never ran enough in a continuous manner on a track to see how much. Bear in mind I used to train side-by-side with a marathon runner. Pretty sure I can run 2 hours in one go.

19.23KM was my furthest at 6:15 mins per km.

jocko is a fucking gorrila

run? 3 miles, but i can jog for hours

OP here.

Looks like I am the most obese and have the poorest cardio in this thread.

So where does the 95% fit are skinny fat losers come from?

7.3 miles, but I'm 62 yrs old, and was pretty much a lifelong smoker.

5k in 23:50, im very fat and i hate my fat body im so fucking fat

I have gotten to 3 miles in the past, but right now I would have to force myself to do a single mile..

On a bike though I just did almost 40 with maybe 5 minutes of rest stop

Running just hurts my lower back and my knees

Like a half mile before I gotta drop it back to a trot... I'm so weak, man

Depends on speed, yesterday I ran 8km in around 32 minutes but I could probably run a lot farther if I was going slower. Distance that you can run is really not a great indicator of fitness so much as speed is. Normies may pop their eyes at the though of running a marathon, but what's more impressive; running a marathon at the average speed or running a mile in under 4 minutes? Honestly I don't see the point in running much more than 10km at one time since doing so is just huge mileage to cause injury and wear on the body anyways.

>pic related, me when someone says they ran a marathon in 6 hours and thinks it's good

Attached: angry DYEL.jpg (622x604, 52K)

I always run a 5k when I get on the treadmill and I don't hurt too bad afterwards so I could probably run at least 6 miles before I am totally gassed.

I think 3 miles is a good distance to work towards then improve upon just because if you're going at a 10 min/mile pace or faster you are going to get a good pump and sweat a lot. I am sure that some people here are anti-treadmill running but I find that you're best off doing that or running on an actual track because you will surely have fewer distractions and possibly faster recovery speed.

I ran for 21 minutes straight and made it to around 3km at my slow ass pace.
