Here in Bongistan it's pretty high quality (not including railway shit, but the buses are pretty cosy most of the time)

>alone on a bus for while it's 5AM
i wish moments like those would last forever, I think it's a shame I sleep through the best parts of nighttime.

In the states, all of the public transit systems look like this because there are so many minorities.

my bus is filled with old white/black/latina people and highschool kids. then
saw an old woman giving this 15 year old advice today lol. it was cute
are the buses loud over there

Trains, buses, and underground trains are all the go-to transport method to move within the city. It's usually cheaper than having a car but dont expect to be able to sit during commute times.
I live in Buenos Aires

I live in Romania (yes shithole country)
Public transport is mostly being used by boomers and old farts and they're occupying seats in buses because they don't have cars and have free time. They're not doing anything anyways, they just randomly go in different places and use it for fun. They will yell at you if you are younger and don't give your seat to theirs. They can go around a church 3 times on their knees but can't stand up 5 minutes in public transport. Fucking boomers.

Also from that, a lot of kids / younger people / stundents use it because they have no car.

And then it's just middle aged people.

I live in France and buses/metro are very common, especially for poorfags like me who can't afford cars. In big cities even some richfags use public transport because socialist mayors are hostile to cars in general. In my city you see all sorts of people, teenagers and kids going to school, wagies going to work, old people just going to the city center, etc.

(same romanianfag)
You can go in different places with it but mostly it's crowded as fuck. You have to be careful with your valuables because gypoos are hunting for money.

Recently we have received new buses, and they have AC so it's nice. But we are still using trams and they're old as fuck and during the summer it's hot as fuck and smells like shit because peasants / gypoos.

Tickets are very cheap, or you can have a subscription. But a lot of kids and gypoos / peasants don't buy tickets. You can rarely get caught, but it still happens.

Third world robot. This is the only public transport you can get

>They're crowded as shit
>THE FUCKING HEAT
>It's common to be seated somewhere with a metal rod sticking in your back and risk getting it lodged in you in case of an accident
>if you're tall for (third world standards) you're just fucked
>The driver doesn't give a shit if you're running late he'll wait for the entire bus to fill up even if it takes more than 30 minutes
>You risk getting beaten up, mugged or both at any second
>Accidents are common
>Your stop depends on where the drivers wants to go and what streets are available
>You have to scream for when you want to get off
>If anyone wants to get off the bus who is sitting in the far back everyone on the bus has to get off
>smokers in general

Forgot to add pic fugg

Finland here, pretty common I guess.
Buses, metroes and trams are used by many, mostly by students and women since they usually don't have cars.
Trains are pretty commonly used, not that many people use them everyday but still.
Public transportation is fucking expensive here and despite that, things don't run quite smoothly. Buses typically come few minutes late and it's quite normal that during winter basically all trains are 20+ mins behind the schedule.

Singapore.
We have a nice subway going on. It gets you to places, though not very efficiently if compared to other major asian cities. but a decade ago, someone started cheaping out and awarding tenders to chinese factories. It breaks down at random, is always overcrowded, and around 8am on weekday mornings it stinks thanks to the newspaper reading salarymen.

Pic related, there was a huge breakdown years ago and it was revealed that cable ties were used to hold them up

The upside...at least it exists and we're not all forced to own cars, since each car is taxed around US$35k per unit purchased, then plus other regular taxes and the cost of the car itself

I live in rural to suburban America
The city bus goes by near my house twice a day and goes like 5 miles up the road one way and five another way
Then you have to connect to another bus that doesnt come for and hour
You cant really use it to get somewhere on time
There are also charter buses that take you between major cities for about 20 to 40 bucks that are fun for little weekend trips or whatever

I live in Bogota. Traffic is a nightmare during rush hour and most people can't afford a car so we have to get into these crowded pieces of junk to get anywhere in less than one hour.

In what kind of shithole do you live? We also have minibuses here, we call them "colectivos", but it isn't nearly as extreme. They still suck, and you're still fucked if you're tall, though.

>underground trains
they are called subways, user

Lebanon. We generally call them vans

These are aometimes available in some areas. The sitting conditions are usually better (if you can find a seat) but they usually take twice as much time to fill up, stop alot, and take more time because they're bigger

i reckon you are from peru?
also, whole lotta fellow latinamericans in this thread

Here in Orlando we have Lynx and Sunrail. Sunrail is absolutely shit even compared to some heritage railroads in Japan.
That being said I stay in Japan about a month a year and I walk to the train station and take the uchibo line to Soga and the Sobu rapid line into Tokyo. It's pretty great. Also I went to New York and MTA is utter shit. The Ginza line is about just as old and doesn't have the bullshit that MTA does.

Nope sandnigger bot

True Washington metro is the fucking worst.

its common and comfy over here in the united states

this too

What's funny is our busses in Orlando come once a hour yet are empty. So the big brain thing to do is use smaller busses right? Even then they can't manage that.

i wish i was french. sounfs comfy
