A huge amount. The difference between stats posted here and weights lifted in gyms all around the world is astronomical.

I’ve never seen anyone OHP 1 plate, only a couple of people benching 2 plates, no one is doing deadlifts anyway and squatting 3 plates? Maybe 1 person.

I'm gonna say 90%, just from the sheer intensity of people saying that things like flat bench or deadlift are meme lifts.

I only bother frequenting Jow Forums when I'm coming back from a time off and need to go a little monk mode on exercising (and catching up on the new dumb and/or crazy shit people are following since last time I was here)

I've been on this board a really long time and it helped me lose a large amount of weight. I never go to the gym though.

It's not our fault you go to a shit gym. I'm in the middle third of strong people at my gym with a 550 squat, 330 bench and 600 deadlift.

I've never been to a real gym. I occasionally go to the gym at my apartment complex to watch TV because I don't own one. I post regularly in qtddtot and give advice to others.

Actually I think it's not that much, maybe like a quarter. Most seem genuinely interested in lifting and dont lie about their stats.

I see people "squat" more than 3 pl8 several times a day and some guys who have spent years in the gym have passed 2pl8 but OHP is pretty rare and unpopular, everyone at my gym is shit at deadlifting. I'm at 255 and I'm better than most here.

Depends on how you define "larping"
A good chunk of this board's users aren't bodybuilders or powerlifters and only care about keeping in shape. Another Chunk is people who just got into fitness as may or may not stick to their routine. But I'm sure there's a minority from Jow Forums and Jow Forums who only come here to make shitposts related to those boards and couldn't care less about fitness.

I’d say 50-60% there was that survey a while back, although I’m sure those numbers are also exaggerated.

I hope that number is pretty high. 80% of men should not spend their time gymceling and doing all that self improve COPE like reading books and nofap. Just fucking drop it and go home freaks. It's simply not something you're meant to do.

In the real world most lifters don't make it to 3 months of consistent lifting.

6 months and you are probably one of the stronger guys in most commercial gyms.

1 year lifting you are probably the strongest in 90% of commercial gyms at any given time

It's not hard to hit 1/2/3/4 in a year or less if you focus on the gym/diet/sleep but most people don't care about chasing numbers and just want to get some exercise a couple times a week.
