What are you meant to do in the gym for an hour? I finish my routine in 20-30 minutes max...
Just spend the rest of the hour 'casually lifting' or something?
What are you meant to do in the gym for an hour? I finish my routine in 20-30 minutes max
Post body or routine so we can laugh at you
You don't need to spend an hour in the gym as a beginner. People who do are either doing brosplits with 100s of reps or fucking around or lifting serious weight and need a lot of time for recovery
Ask me how I know you're DYEL
They are dyel ego lifters who rest 5 minutes between sets
>I finish my routine in 20-30 mins max
You aren't doing enough
take your time with compounds, maybe even 5 mins rest if you gonna lift heavy af for your numbers
accessories max 90 secs rest
An SS workout takes almost an hour when you start, and even more when the weights get heavier. If you add some curls or dips and some direct ab work at the end of your workout as you should if you train for aesthetics, you are at 1,5 hour.
>SS
Lol
@mars.2001 on instagram btw
>An SS workout takes almost an hour when you start, and even more when the weights get heavier.
How? Are you meant to take it real fuckin' slow?
45 mins routine, 45 mins cardio, 30 mins shower
This was me every day for a solid year and it was havoc on my body. Now I have a 2 hour routine with a good amount of rest tome between sets which I do twice per week, I have 30 mins of cardio twice per week and I have a 45 minute ab-specific routine which I do twice per week. My last day of the week is just for deads and squats.
>30 mins shower
Wat
Squat warmups, 7 minutes
Squat 3 sets, 12 minutes
OHP warmups, 6 minutes
OHP 3 sets, 12 minutes
Chin-up warmup, 2 minutes
Chin-up 3 sets, 12 minutes
Farmer's walks 2 sets, 6 minutes
Those are estimates but it makes about an hour total which is how long that workout actually lasts. I take 3 minute rests between work sets and shorter rests between warmup sets.
id bust on this armless whores tits then throw her in the sea
Which sea
It's a popular beginner routine and one of the most minimalistic ones.
Grayskull, reg park, SL and other beginner programs take at least as much time, dut propably more. ICF will take almost 2 hours.
Intermediate bb routines like phul or phat are also pretty time consuming. And pl programs will have you rest a lot between sets.
The only way to finish in 30 minutes is to work only one muscle a day on a bro split.
atlantic sea
No, but you should do your warmup sets and rest 2-3 minutes between sets.
I get the warm-up, but why all that rest?
If you're getting through your workouts in 20-30 minutes you're not lifting heavy enough.
To recover before your next set i guess.
20-30 minutes? Bitch that's my warm up for my triceps
if i drive in any direction long enough ill get to a sea. fuck you!
Including rest time between sets you should take the following amount of time to do each exercise:
Flat Bench 5 sets ~ 8 minutes
OHP 5 sets ~ 8 minutes
Barbell Curl 5 sets ~ 8 minutes
Deadlift 5 sets ~ 8 minutes
Incline Bench 3-5 sets ~ 5-8 minutes
Squats if you're gay ~ 8 minutes
Pullups ~ 5 minutes
42-45 minutes total workout.
50-53 minutes total workout if gay
Add on a run at the end which should take you at least 10 minutes and you're at the gym for a minimum of 52 minutes or 1 hour if you're gay.
Starting strength is shit and actively puts people off going to the gym. Nobody lifting heavy is doing starting strength.
Note that this workout only hits the major exercises and you should also do some middle deltoid exercise like dumbbell flys and ideally hit your triceps with something that targets them directly.
You should also work your abs/obliques/core a bit too.
If you're doing all that then you're guaranteed to take over an hour at the gym.
Or just do giant sets to fit it all in. Additional bonus is you end up training your work capacity because anybody doing a giant set of rows, flyes and arms is going to be blowing out their ass by the end of it.
Loads of people train for an hour each session and are strong. I know strongman competitors who train one hour 4 days a week and place highly and are legitimately strong and well conditioned. Stop using time restriction as an excuse for your lack of effort.
me
he obviously meant 5min shower+25min of gay sex while in the shower
brojobs in the shower
>Deadlift 5 sets ~ 8 minutes
That's like 1 min rest if you count the time the sets take. You must be pulling babyweight or nowhere near your max
You’ve seriously never lifted a heavy weight in your entire life, have you?
5x5 takes me 75-90 minutes and that doesn't even include the foam-rolling
Do your routine again. With more weight.
Found the boomer with shit recovery time
30 minutes is just my warmup alone, wtf are you doing OP?
you're probably small and weak. If you're "finishing your routine" in 20-30 you have a shit routine / dont go hard enough ever.
>squats
>gay
the DYEL readings are through the roof!
Why did she delete the best images of her?
Shhhh.
He knows that, anyone pushing sl, ss, or any other meme program is just trying to fuck with normies
Sauna, get crap together, shower, face scrub, hair care, get dressed... looksmaxing takes time, user.
That's an ocean bro
Probably because she's 17
Don't worry about it. Do the minimum amount of work needed to progress.
Used to rest like 15 min between sets. Did like 4 total sets a workout lol. Thanks 2013 fitness youtubers
cope
>5 mins to recover
95% of people here can’t run a mile without collapsing, they probably need about 5 minutes just to get their heart rate back down to 100
Most men are too stuckup to groom themselves beyond the absolute basics and plenty of them even fuck that up
These same foul smelling and generally unkempt men will also be found complaining that women are too superficial, while mocking their female equivalents
Cardio
Depends on that your goals and targets are. Then also then depends on what your sets/routine is.
Where do I find girls that look like this?
never gonna make it
How do you do farmer's walks without getting laughed at? I get looked at like I'm a degenerate drooling brainlet every time I try to do it for more than 20 seconds.
AFAIK none were nude
That means you're doing it right.
Just get a Bowflex, you only need 20 minutes a day 3x a week to look like Chad
Today was leg day. Took me 3h.
Dyel faggots like you never gonna make it.
45° Legpress: 300x15 350x10 400x5 450x10 300x20 300x200
Squats: 100x10 120x5 140x5 160x5 100x20
Leg extension: 6 sets a 15 reps to failure
Stiff leg deadlifts: 100x10 120x5 140x3 160x12 120x20
Leg curls: 4 sets a 15 reps to failure
Calves...
Abs...
Every peak set is a max effort set, every backoff set to failure.
how many litres of milk do you drink a day?
Fine, then. Reg Parks (you know, the one Arnold started on), Bill Starr, whatever. You'll still be there longer than 30 mins for a full workout.
It's amazing how having no tattoos is enough to bump a girl up one or two numbers these days
shut the fuck up manlet
you lift bitch weight and obviously are a noob
so i dont know why you think your opinions/experiences mean anything?? People who actually need volume to grow and push their CNS need recovery time
If you do high frequency training, 40 minutes works. This doesn't include travel, or shower.
On my lunch break I go to the gym, which is right next door. Even with an hour and twenty minutes, stretching, showering, and travel means I really have 50 minutes or so to lift. I also run a quick mile at the end though.
So M/W/F I do BB row/incline DB bench or dips/pull ups.
I go up to 165lbs added for dips, 90 for pull ups, so it's not like it's no weight. I aim to get three good sets of each with 5-10 reps (I wave program rep ranges). Last set is an AMRAP drop set.
Then I normally still have time for an arm superset pump set or two. I also try to work shrugs and cable crunch in between sets as active rest.
T/Th is squats/deadlifts and OHP. Since I press every day I just do two sets of OHP. Normally do 5 sets of deads or squats but I do those less. Then finish with AMRAP of walking lunges with 85s.
You can be stronger than most of Jow Forums and the gym on an efficient short routine. Every week or two I also do a longer after work set for actually hitting PRs or doing challenges.
>he doesn't do 8 hour arm workouts
Never going to make it.
