How do you actually count your calories anons...

How do you actually count your calories anons. I eat lunch and dinner at restaurants around my work every day and have no ducking clue how to actually track my caloric intake. Like who the fuck actually knows how much butter and shit do they add into that food.
Not even talking about getting the right amount of proteins and shit.
Don't really have time to cook my own meals and it seems I had gained 3kilos out of nowhere in a week. Desperate for any tips on how to proceed in a shitty scenario like mine for them gains.

>Don't really have time to cook my own meals
Yes you do.

Fuck off.

>I eat lunch and dinner at restaurants around my work every day
Yeah, don't do that.
>Don't really have time to cook my own meals
Then you don't eat meals anymore. If you can't track it, you can't eat it. If the only way you can manage to keep track of things is by eating nothing but bread and protein shakes, that's how you do it.

I work 30hours and study full time. I really don't see myself having the time to cook apart from boiling some eggs in the morning.

You meal prep on weekends so that all your main meals are cooked and only require reheating

Yeah it sucks and I know it. Just trying to think of a way to minimise the harm and get all the needed nutrients.

Is that even possible to prepare that much balanced meals that wouldn't spoil?

if you don't have time then make time, you will never make it with this piss weak attitude

Using RT as a source
>shigdigdiggerydoo

It's just a memerino mah dude

You trash talking fucks actually motivate me to try this at least for a week doubt I will manage it though

Mate, I work 60 hours a week on my fucking PhD and I still got time for cooking myself. Fuck right off with that attitude, learn to cook man.

Good luck with your PhD dude!
Learn to cook does sound intimidating tho. Didn't see anything related to cooking in the sticky. Where should I start?

Well thanks.

Its not intimidating, because you dont have to prove anything to anyone. No one is sitting there judging you and your cooking skills. There are TONS of videos on youtube that you can just check or you buy a cooking book.

In todays world, EVERYTHING CAN BE LEARNED, the internet is that powerful. Dont be afraid, go for it. Start with easy shit like "how to prepare eggs in all kinds of ways" or sth.

A man that can cook and provide is extremely attractive to women, keep that in mind.

i can guess the number of calories a dish has pretty reliably

Portion size. If you absolutely MUST eat at restaurants all the time, only eat half of what they serve you.

>How do you actually count your calories anons.
I don't. CICO is complete bs.

Put it in the freezer, dum dum.

Let's say you cook 14 meals, 2 for each day of the week.
Now you take 2 meals, put them in the fridge for the next day, freeze the rest. Before you sleep on the next day, take 2 meals off the freezer and put them on the fridge. And repeat.

Yeah I guess I just need to go for it. It won't be worse than eating fuck knows what.
I am not that stupid but how do you survive psychologically eating frozen food every day. I guess I just need to choose whether I want to eat tasty or healthy

I almost never eat out. The few times I do I settle for an estimate but it's rare enough that even if my estimates are off by a lot it won't affect my progress.

>Don't really have time to cook my own meals
If you care about it, make time. Otherwise accept that you have other priorities and stop posting about it on fitness forums about how you don't have time for the absolute bare minimum. We're not here to pat you on the head for not trying.

Weight loss requires consistency, start eating the same shit everyday and weigh yourself everyday. If you cant figure out the rest you're retarded

While i dont agree with this 100%. I drink 6-8 beers a night and have been losing weight while at a surplus most days. I don't think all calories are the same

>I eat lunch and dinner at restaurants around my work every day
Stop it.

Will do captain

>A man that can cook is extremely attractive to women
What is this world coming to.

it only takes 20-30 minutes to whip something up. You are telling me you don't have 20-30 minutes? Going to get fast food will probably take you at least 20 minutes in itself. You are just lazy and full of excuses.

I don't go for fast food joints. I go to "normal" restaurants but of course it is still shit and I know it. Will try to change that after all these motivational kicks to the butt

>I drink 6-8 beers a night and have been losing weight while at a surplus most days.
