How the fuck do crossfitters row one day and squat the next with no problem? Rowing for 20 minutes leaves my legs dead for a fucking week.

That's common when you're starting out. Keep at it, soreness goes away eventually.

Of course never confuse muscle soreness (normal and not bad for you) with actual injury.

I can row a sub-8 2k on 10, but I can also run a six minute mile and leg press 405.

How? How are you using it? Upside down? I do 30 minutes of rowing three times a week and it has never killed my legs. At most some aching shoulders. It's the best cardio.

That’s not ehat the settings are there for you mong. Spend 2 minutes on google and find out how to set the erg, so you don’t look like an idiot putting it to 10 and feeling tough

I tried getting a sub 7 minute 2k after squatting heavy the day before. I thought my quads were going to explode and I only ended up getting 7:33. Crossfitters usually don't row for prolonged periods of times (from what I have personally seen) so there is room for recovery, especially when your body gets used to it.
