it was 2:01:39
his marathon pace is like my 200m pace
hes insane

>HOW THE FUCK IS A HUMAN EVEN CAPABLE OF THAT?

Niggers, they learn to run from the popo at a very young age, and continue doing it all through adult hood. While niggers are busy gaining that speed and endurance. White people are busy talking about the latest anime.

>running 4:38 miles for over 2 hours straight.
>running over 8 5k's in a row at a 14:24 5k pace
insane

>running 4:38 miles for over 2 hours straight.
Most of fit couldn't keep up with him for 400m

Doesnt kipchoge hold the record time of 2:01:39? From the Berlin marathon?

It's just waiting to be verified

we are built for it but yeah, that guy is a fucking machine

In certain African tribes they still endurance hunt.....they run after fucking animals for up to 8 hours.....they dont even injure it. they fucking run until the animal is too exhausted to continue running.

People of African decent are fucking insane

youtu.be/826HMLoiE_o

fucking amazing

His avg pace was:
28:58 per 10k
4:38 per mile
2:54 per km
0:69.5 per 400m
0:17.4 per 100m

i can't even run to the bus stop down the road without nearly passing out.

Seriously?

Damn

Humans are fucking amazing. Even without our big brains our bodies are fucking amazing.

too good xD

>TFW this is how humans hunted for 2 million years straight
>I will never know what it is like to use my body for what it evolved for

Sadly, this is somewhat of a meme, and is only done for tourists. The real reason is Kenya has _insane_ running programs, and kids everywhere dream of one day being a bigdick marathon runner who goes to foriegn countries to win money by running. Some of them do. It's similar to how Chinese tend to dominate Ping Pong. There might be a genetic factor, but the insane lifelong hardon for running produces the real champions.

blacks are alien superhumans

Leonard Fournette ran 22 mph for a touchdown last season.

Have you seen his training regimen?
Also, don't africans have some sort of lower bone density that decreases their weight?

I was talking to a friend who wanted to get better at long distance running, he asked me how i had done it (went from being able to run 1k at 9km/h to 22k at 12km/h) and I told him you have to run every day, no rest days. He told me that's bullshit, and your body needs at least 24 hours of rest between each run. I tried showing him actual marathon runner's regimen, then he got pissy and said he wasn't looking to win a marathon.
Why are people so fine with being mediocre?

It's a meme in the sense that it is now done for tradition and tourism, but it is not a meme in this is how humans literally evolved to hunt and is hence why we have the best running endurance of any animal.

They're not necessarily fine with being mediocre, they're just not happy with being wrong or having to put in effort to not be mediocre.

why are some people fine wit living in a power fantasy?

>human

Why would that be true? If you accept that you need rest days for lifting, why would you not need rest days for running? Both are progressive adaptations.

That's not a human...

doesn't seem that fast?
I run at 6min/km thats about 30km an hour? An I only run for ~30 min

So I can run 30km/hr for 30 min and he can run 20km/hr for 2 hours... Doesn't seem that impressive?

Is that supposed to be impressive? I've hit close to 22mph during sprints and I'm far from being an athlete...

I've never followed long distance running or watched events but one of my friends who is into that shit told me there's really good prize money in these events.

6 min / km is 10 km/h not 30

ah.. thats true lol.. he runs twice as fast as me for a full marathon then? jesus

your pic is clearly not human

I can sprint 24,5km/h for 800meters..
For 3k i need 11 minutes on good days...
but jesus, that is really impressive...

Most of humanity couldn't keep up with him for that pace. I don't even know if horses can.

>best running endurance
No we don't. Granted, we are really high up there, top 3 in fact, but one animal surpasses us. The Alaskan Sled Dog.

scientificamerican.com/article/sled-dog-science/

They are the only animals capable of turning off the glycogen component of endurance running.

he got about 150k for this race

okay, now THIS is epic

eastern africans are tall and slender. i guess thats good for running for some reason.

that's not a human

>HOW THE FUCK IS A HUMAN EVEN CAPABLE OF THAT?

>black
>human

>There might be a genetic factor
might be? 1+ billion chinese beaten by the population of few villages in kenya isn't due to luck.

>his is how humans literally evolved to hunt
lol no. maybe those africans in the vid but elsewhere was different.

Is this a picture for ants.jpg

There is ONE tribe that produces nearly all top runners in kenya.

npr.org/sections/parallels/2013/11/01/241895965/how-one-kenyan-tribe-produces-the-worlds-best-runners?t=1537371216918

"Some of it is genetics, but some of it just the way they were raised. Read a bit down in the article and you'll see some insane shit.

Elly Kipgogei, 19, remembers going through the ceremony at age 15.

First, he says, he had to crawl mostly naked through a tunnel of African stinging nettles. Then he was beaten on the bony part of the ankle, then his knuckles were squeezed together, and then the formic acid from the stinging nettle was wiped onto his genitals.

But all that was just warm-up; early one morning he was circumcised, with a sharp stick."

"Circumcision," he says, "teaches kids to withstand pressure and tolerate pain."

Manners says he thinks there's a distinct advantage conferred on athletic kids who grow up in a pain-embracing society, as opposed to a Western, pain-avoiding one."

>Not training since child to resist pain and discomfort in all forms
>Not becoming an unflinching stoic that laughs at the "stress" and "pain" of the modern life and breezes through all that is a grind to others

>reddit, the posts

Usain Bolt hit nearly 28mph.

>tfw that's not much slower than my pace on a bicycle

>is that supposed to be fast
>I'm super slow
What?

Endurance hunting is low IQ, there's a reason it's only ever practiced by a very, very small amount of sub-saharan hunter-gatherers.

>Okay, THIS is bbc

Is this the power of angry white boys?
Producing ant size pictures?

What is the problem with that? As long as you work hard to realize it and become a better person it seems like a healthy mentality.

>I run at 6min/km thats about 30km an hour?

Check your maths brainlet.

Superior genes my dude

This actually makes sense. Most of running consists of being able to bear with suffering. I have never been able to run to the point where I simply can't run anymore, suffering has always won. It's all about being able to endure it

THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF MODERN EDUCATION

>0:17.4 per 100m
> for 26.2 miles

GGGGGGG-SUS

because improvements for distance running aren't based on damage and repair of muscle

If nothing else, they start working on their glutes, hips, and lower back at a young age.

you are nowhere near your genetic potential, faggot

how...do they bring their prey back? They just chased it for 8 hours, god knows to where and how far. That thing looks pretty heavy and the dude just ran for 8 hours, is he going to drag it back? Does he leave it, get assistance, and just remembers where he left it?
I have so many questions
