1/2/3/4 means 1 plate OHP, 2 plate bench, 3 plate squat, 4 plate deadlift.
That's the base-line I suggest you be at before you focus on anything else.

i did NE for about 3 months and the volume days were just too gueling. halfway through the workout i was drained and felt like i wasnt giving my best on the remaining lifts so i switched to 2-way split eventually. it was fun as fuck though and i was introduced to some lifts that are now my staple go to exercises like landmine press and block pull.

Nothing has to be complicated. Go to the gym several times a week, lift heavy enough that you struggle to complete 3 sets of 8-10. Incorporate compound lifts. Be consistent. This is all it takes. You don't need some stupid fucking program.
