The Persian guy or Nietzsche?

>the persian guy
do you mean zoroaster?

The one that thus spoke

He had almost no knowledge of memes and didn't live in his mum's basement.

If by robot you mean the typical poster here then definitely not.

It's the same name, genius.

Was he truly a prophet then?

It's too early to tell.

Why do you think Nietzsche chose the name? It's not esoteric at all. He says it, in his books.

A demon probably revealed it to him, along a few other things, when he visited him in his darkest night. How do you think Nietzsche reacted to whatever else the demon revealed to him that night?

Atleast read the author if you want to have a discussion.

>What, if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more' ... Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: 'You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.'

How great of a burden is this? Heavy at all?

Depends on how you view life. If you are the overman then it is not a burden just as he says.

No such a think as the overman yet. As we are only bridges. Remember what Zarathustra spoke when he saw the tightrope walker?

I am the overman.

Congratulations to you brother, if true. But you still are a midget in comparison to the Titan that is the true knight of faith. Who /philosophfag/ here?

t. China

Kierkegaard and Nietzsche are actually very similar.

Currently reading Fear and Trembling. Thinking about sticking to stuff by Jung, Niestzche, and Kierkegaard. Anything else worthwhile? Should I bother with the greeks?

I don't know any other authors I would recommend if you interest is in existential philosophy. Sartre is bunk, and Camus is Nietzsche for dummies.

>Camus is Nietzsche for dummies.

Dang I knew chads couldn't philosophy
