Oh, plus: the whole reason women can't do anything or make any decisions in traditional society is effectively because men as a whole realized that women only cause strife and problems among men on a loose leash, so it's better for everyone if all the men cooperate on the one big thing of holding all the women down, kept in their place. Even the women themselves benefit because it creates a stable situation where they know unambiguously which of their instincts is going to be in charge and that quells the other one, which makes them happier and less neurotic. That's why women were happier on average before feminism, which was a movement made by the small minority who were unhappy losers in the old system.

There's tons of proof of this as well, like the fact mentioned earlier that a woman who's a virgin until her permanent partner pair bonds really strongly with him, as well as the fact that women self-report being hornier and having sex more often in less equal relationships.
