Have a full-time job? How much do you train?

A lot of people watch videos of people who train hard and get jacked and ripped. We see "superheroes" on the screen who look incredible. And we even see people who say "I trained like a superhero, by the guy who trained Captain America, and got great results." Or they're in college and have free time to work out and/or play a sport.

The issue is that none of these people, so far as I can tell, have full-time jobs with possibly long commutes. None work jobs like IT gigs which have after-hours on-call requirements. They almost all focus solely on their bodies.

When I'm out of work, I can hit the gym every day. I lose weight, and my diet is better. But when I'm working full-time and commuting an hour each way, I don't want to do jack fucking shit after work except stuff some food down me, grab a beer or five, and binge Netflix or something. This is indicative of a problem with my own discipline, sure, but external factors are a problem, too.

So what should the people who work full-time expect from results? And over what time period? If you were getting paid to be a full-time fitness model, you'd get ripped fast. But what about us "normal" people.?

Basically make time and you’ll make it. Otherwise, you won’t.

Do or do not. Fag.

Working full time and lifting is easy mode. Try working 7 12's and still lifting every night faggot

how do you like 12s? I work 4 straight and it kills me sometimes to cut into sleep to not miss a day.

>I don't want to do jack shit
That's literally your problem right there. You're weak willed as fuck, it has nothing to do with your job. If you were in college it would literally be the exact same story, "I spend three hours in classes and when I get home I don't want to do jack shit...".

Fuck you. I get up at 5, swim/run till 6, get ready for 7, get to work at 9, leave at 5, go to the gym, head home at 7, get home 8, in bed at 9. Even with that I usually have an hour at home to fuck around with netflix or whatever.

It works because I meal prep, plan my shit and COMMIT to being a better human being than lazy fucks like you.

Is this a new copypasta? I frame homes for a living and work out 6 days a week.

>This is indicative of a problem with my own discipline
Sounds like you already know what your problem is.

That's how it's done

Is that life actually worth it if you are only getting one hour a day to yourself during the week? It seems like such a punishing lifestyle for really not that much reward. I mean how often do people really see you with your shirt off anyway?

You dont have to do two a days like that guy OP. I work full time as well. Wake up at 8, work by 9, home at 5, anime and food till 6, learn jap till 730, shitpost/fuck around till 9, gym till 1030, cook till 11, read till 12 or one and start over. It's not that hard mang

Do you really though

Is this supposed to sound appealing or something? You're telling us peak human is only having an hour of free time?

Some people thrive with less free time. They enjoy their work or they just realize they’re happier with something to do even if they don’t absolutely love it. I don’t have many hobbies and when I have more than a little free time I start overthinking shit.

I'm the way same way, I just would feel trapped if that was my schedule desu. What do you do for work?

Jokes on you suckers, I work at my gym and train minimum 2 times per day. Sometimes more. Usually take weekends off.

Ιt actually is.

Free time is a meme. I never do anything productive in my 'free time'. We live such short lives it's criminal to not utilise every second of it.

Of course that ruins my relationships because women have 0 interests whatsoever and just want to go to work and go out

I go to gym in the morning, before work. I have somewhat flexible work hours(had to be at work between 9-15 Mon - Thur, 9-14 on Friday) Still, I wakeup at 5, gym 5:30-45 till I am finished(usually around 7, 7:15) then work.

I think I wouldn't be so regular with gym if I would go after work, I am a lazy cunt, I know that about myself so I forced this habit of going to gym 1st thing in the morning, so there is no "today I had a lot of work, I am tired, I will go tomorrow.. or let's grab a few beers with colleagues after work.. etc.

So that would be my advice if you are too lazy to go to gym after work, go before work

Why not? Party hard on weekends and buddy's basically living the dream. Why do you need free time on weekdays anyway, it's not like you're going out on work nights or anything.

I wake up at 5:30, train, work 9-6, study evening class 7-9, sleep at 10

stop being a bitch with excuses

Three times a week plus the occasional jog in the morning before work. I constantly need to remind myself that it's only my brain that's tired and that I could still work out.

This. I work 7 12s and just wake up at 4:30 am to lift before work. Motivation is fleeting, you need discipline.

I have a full time job and I train 5-6 days a week for 35-70 minutes depending on the day.

It's really not difficult if you're working a conventional 40 hour week with a manageable commute and no crazy, extra responsibilities (like kids).
