Where did I say he doesn't look great? He does look great, especially for a natural lifter at 17. He's been training properly and lifting consistently for a little over 2 years and clearly has good genetics/insertions for an aesthetic physique. It's like all of Jow Forums believes that there's no way you can have a decent pair of delts without roiding.
Pic related was me at 18 only 7 months into lifting. Legs sucked because my coach at school told me squatting below parallel is awful for your knees. 4x12 on ohp and lateral raises once a week was all I had to do for my delts, not hard at all.

I wouldn't recommend it but I was a noob and the teacher let me pick my own routine. It was push, pull, legs, abs every other day at school. Like this. Pxpxlxxxaxpxpxlxxxc etc. Nothing special just 4x8-12 on every exercise with a minute or two of rest between sets.

Push
flat bench, incline dumbell bench, 4 sets of dips to failure, lateral raises, rope tricep extension, and barbell ohp if I had time.
Pull
neutral grip chin ups to failure, t bar rows, shrugs, lat pull downs, wrist curls, then preacher curls, sometimes a dropset at the end so I could have a nice pump for my next class.
Legs
Squats, leg curls, quad extensions, hip abductor/adductor machine, and then calf raises on the smith machine.
Abs
Incline sit ups, hanging leg raises, side crunches, and back extensions for fun.
After I graduated I switched to David Laids old dup program and saw much better gains, that's actually what I'd recommend
I've been trying new stuff like Sheiko, Bulgarian light, and Smolov jr but I always end up going back to it.
