I don't get why people like him so much, is there something missing from him in the show that was in the books?
I went into the show expecting a strong, pragmatic, and uncompromising leader like everyone said. Instead he struts around mumbling about Justice and "muh throne", then gets btfo almost every time and runs back crying "Melisandre pls".
Just some guy whose reach exceeded his grasp and who tried to fill the gap between the two with help from a paranormal entity he didn't even understand. Like a cautionary tale not to lean so heavily on power that's not your own
