Powerlifting should be OHP and Deadlift only.
An adult male weighs 200kg
Squat > deadlift
Deadlift can be memed. Sumo shitters ruin in.
Should whippy bars be banned?
Yes, it is a disgrace the bars arent standardized. In any real sport they are.
fyi
smol tiddy goth gf with a few well-placed tattoos > big tiddy goth gf covered in kiddie drawings
fuck my small hands and weak grip, i can easily do 10x on 315lb but anything over 215 on deadlifts my grip just starts slipping, it makes me sad

just lift in reality nobody cares about what you lift, make steady progress and dont listen to people here laughing or trying to tell you you should lift more. Make steady progress overtime (just not on 5/3/1)
pavel pls go
Day 1, start of final development block before next meet
>bucket of cheese
Muh kneegrow, that best be whole milk mozzarella with parmesan
You guys take whey?
If so, how much per day?
I fear that I’m not consuming enough protein at all but I’m not sure if it would impact recovery that greatly.
wpc 80 has 80g of protein in 100g
If your daily goal is 180 and you eated 90 you have to do math
>whole milk mozzarella
mozzarella is made with buffalo milk, not cow milk.
now i'm assuming you're implying cow milk here because "whole milk" typically means ~3.5% fat cow milk, but no buffalo milk is a whopping 8% fat
>with parmesan
am*ricans need to fuck off and die
quarter of my protein intake comes from whey
so 50 grams every day
none
I just eat real food about 140g from protein sources likely another 40-60grams from non protein sources. If you eat a lot of food you will get a lot of trace proteins
I am setting PR on my bench ever time i lift, but its only 1 set With 1 rep. It was a lot more fun to PR on 3x5 on SS.
>Should whippy bars be banned?
Lol just dont compete in feds that allow them, nuggah.
You can literally choose your fed.
1-2 shakes (70g of protein each), depending on the day.
Between 1 or two "shakes". Each With two scoops and a totall of 40 grams. Which is 80g a day. My daily protein goal is 188g.
Lol okay evermediate
>rent free
I think the problem in this case is that he's a short guy pulling sumo. Either way, just compete in an IPF fed.
>falling for the rent jew
your fault bud
I'm a homeowner, my summer home is free in user's daily thoughts.
yo. directly bought from the farm, still wet. sometimes it does pay off to be a rural bippidi bappidi after all.
while correct, I just bought cow, money's a bit tight and I needed a LOT
>own a home and rent another
>cheap out on cheese
is this one of those famous pebble brains we were talking about?
and anyway i'm more angery about the parmesan
seriously what the fuck, parmesan on pizza especially when you already have mozzarella on there? this is just some yank "lmao just put more cheese on there" tier bullshit
>money's a bit tight and I needed a LOT
that's ok then
but you wouldn't go around recommending cow milk """mozzarella""" without a good reason, right?
only if money or taste is a concern (bufala does have a certain distinct taste that doesn't fit all dishes), or one wants to boycott the industry because male buffalo calfs are left to rot in dumpsters.
so not very often for me, I'm literally just poor right now, kek
Buffalo mozzarella is L I T E R A L L Y impossible to find in the states, especially for a reasonable price. That said I do buy high quality cow's milk mozzarella. Funnily enough I got the idea for parmesan on pizza while watching Ugly Delicious from a guy in Italy that was making Neapolitan pizzas.

Pretty good but tired as fuck
4pl8 front rack holds for 1 minute twice fucking killed me
its just frustrating that my grip gives up on what i could realistically be lifting a lot more if i had some sort of handle assistance, i guess ill have to focus on grip strength a lot more, smol hands is curse
thin parmesan splinters, or a wee bit of grated one, do go on some specific kinds, but the way most 2nd gen jersey scum piles it on every pizza they make is literally rape
I just put a thin layer on mine. I consider it a flavor enhancer.
I posted my bench form in an earlier thread. How's it looking now? I've focused on trying to keep my forearms at a 90 degree angle this time.
>bufala does have a certain distinct taste that doesn't fit all dishes
true i guess, but there's a pretty big difference between calling it "fior di latte" and "cow mozzarella"
i went on a few long ass rants on /ck/ about that a few times lmao
>or one wants to boycott the industry because male buffalo calfs are left to rot in dumpsters
if you start boycotting like that you'll end up eating air and rocks, basically anything that you didn't grow yourself in your backyard is totally fucked
>L I T E R A L L Y impossible to find in the states
huh, didn't know that
>i saw it on tv
yep, yank bullshit.
big yikes here
did the guy in the back scratch his leg mid-rep? wtf
Last vid for comparison
it looks like he did lmao

Ugly delicious isn't some bullshit show desu. It's absolutely a good watch. The pizza episode night trigger spastic purists though.
it looks weird too me, but wtf do i know
>true i guess, but there's a pretty big difference between calling it "fior di latte" and "cow mozzarella"
of course but those whose opinion I care about know what I mean and the rest is either yanks or big city stronzi i.e. who cares
>i went on a few long ass rants on /ck/ about that a few times lmao
KEK I may remember you from a certain thread, nice. what a bunch of faux-sophisticated assholes, but I love 'em
>if you start boycotting like that you'll end up eating air and rocks, basically anything that you didn't grow yourself in your backyard is totally fucked
yeah I just listed it as another reason to use cow milk, I personally don't give a fuck. hell, let me eat the male baby calfs instead, bet they're tender and tasty heh
I like to watch it for lols and because some of the stuff is genuinely cool but any approach to traditional cuisine of whatever old world country is to be taken with not only a grain but a whole shaker of salt
How do you guys find pants ?
Get your feet back further to get your knees below your hips for proper leg drive and don't let the bar bounce on your chest, just barely let it touch your t shirt
Isley says that to people that are benching with less than 2 pl8 now
wear tracksuit
we arent 15 years old
i unironically wear looser ones but not jeans that look like they were made for me but you cannot wear shitty trainers or hoodies with it or you will look like lump
jeans are unironically made for small people if you have big legs you will either look weird/blocky like I used to or they will be baggy
Pic related. I have 4 pairs, 2 are about a year and a half old. Hold up very well.
I have same and legs looks extremly blocky in this, switch to material ones
2sad2wank
They fit me like leggings so you must just have blocky legs.
post pics desu
I wear 38/34 an they're pushed to the limit
>38
how fucking fat are you
I'm about to drive to the gym. Not wearing them anymore.
Yokes I wear 32x32.
I have to wear belt or they would fall from my waist automatically but wouldnt be able to get past my glutes and quads.
30x34 tiny waist lanklet. I always buy 32/34 waist though since it's right in my quads, even though they are tiny.
Tight*
I cant get 36/34 past my quads, stay tiny
And it fell apart like a pile of shit. Make something strong and it will be built to last
Aren’t heavy triples supposed to fatigue the muscle only a little and mostly the CNS?
How come I lose strength across multiple sets so rapidly then
beacuse you're weak
Hey that looks pretty good. Touch lighter on the chest, more control - literally let it just touch your t-shirt and no more. Props to the girl working in with you
Alien aid isn't natty
literally T-rex mode
How's my diddly setup looking?
youtube.com
I know it's not a full rep - I was doing lifetime testing in work today so my forearms/grip is destroyed and only thought to film my third single. So how's my setup looking? Up 20kg in month
Yes. If you don't deadlift with the same bar with which you squat, you are a bitch.
I add a scoop to a shaker's worth of milk every day.
Don't listen to this numbnut, whey protein is absolutely as good as it gets with regards to digestibility and absorption. Unless your diet is nothing but eggs and milk, whey protein is better than some of the protein you're getting from food.
>Dried King
I see you are also a man of class and good taste.
It's good but uhhhh that's a deficit deadlift and one of the ghettoist setup I've ever seen.
How to get Strunk?!!
Plate's are smaller yeah but I don't think it's much of a deficit. Have 3'4" plywood outside I've been meaning to put under either side to raise it up. Much issue with every deadlift of mine being a deficit? + I'm wearing squat shoes so it's even bigger lol
In regards to ghetto yeah, I'm the user who works 60 hour weeks so being able to step out the back and do most of the stuff is so much handier. And the only gyms in a 25 mile radius are for crossfit or boomers so screw that
k i n k y d o g
where are you from thats ghetto even for eastern europe
I’ve been front squatting only for a while now and improving well, also noticed that my deadlifts move incredibly well and I seem to be much stronger, keep position better and break the floor with ease.
Which is more likely to be the cause? Stronger upper back or stronger quads?
Probably both but I’m just wondering what you think has a bigger impact.
>60 hour work week
Are you a slave? what the fuck?
I hate training alone. I can hardly do it twice a week.
And always doing deficits is fine, carry on.
Britfag hahaha, I just haven't bothered to set a rack up near me. It's cause it's dark and raining.
Here's it last month youtu.be
I just despise the gyms near me and haven't had the time to weld a rack up and put it in the garage so I welded pins on the old calisthenics pullup bar I've had for a few years
stop being not strunk
Upper back, no contest.
Was a student doing 40/hrs and 30hrs/uni, now 45hrs/placement job and 10-15hrs/at my previous job to hold it for when I go back to uni for last 2 years.
Nah, I've a friend comes round on Mondays to train but I lift alone Sun/Wed/Thurs, it's nice and is my chill time.
seems to be much better than any rows I’ve ever done
I can give you an old bar for free if you live near buckinghamshire. I can't spare any plates though. What the fuck kind of work do you do that's 60 hours in blighty?
it looks like you gonna close that bar with 200kg anyway, so might grind it out until 200kg deadlift and start saving money for bar and weights.
Cross the water in NI but thanks. Plates are hard to come by over here yeah, so that's why I've stuck with the 1" plates - £1/kilo vs £2/kilo for OLY and I've 200kg sitting.
See 45hrs design engineering and 10-15hours in a shop. Been doing shop work for 5 years now, I'm like the golden boy. But yeah it fucks with my lifts definitely, in regards to sleep. And drinking too much on saturday night as a 'stress reliever'
Thank you though, again
Close the bar? 200kg new bar and weights? My plan was to hopefully buy a good 1" bar to save me switching everything. And the fact I lift in the rain if I need to so I'd rather not rust up a good bar compared to the £10 ones I'm using atm.
I meant that bar doesnt look like you can fit anything more than 200kg on it. If you can lift in that shed you could lmao put sheet on it everytime you finish your wokout
Nah the shed's too narrow, I checked lol. Also has my workbench in it (like vice/saw/etc) and I store all the weights and bars in there. Nah I'll get 220kg on that bar and it's not even a full 6 footer. Although it'll be more awkward getting everything up to full plates because it'll be 4pl8s, a 10,5,2.5 sort of thing.
Doesnt matter, I respect that you dont whine about having shitty equipment and harsh conditions while we have guys here refusing to lift if its not nice power bar and calibrated plates
What kind of autism is this exactly?
I lifted bench today until my pecs were nice and sore then I lifted chinups until my lats were nice and sore then I lifted curls until my biceps were nice and sore... then out of the blue I did ohp until my delts were nice and sore
now I'm nice and sore c",)
>detrained a bit because only could lift 2 days during deload because of doggo emergency
>495 still looked aight
34 days out /plg/
Mr. Isley mail your bar to me. I want to scrape all of that dead skin off.
Thanks haha. Yeah you should see me when I bail my lifts. I'll see if I have a video but it's pretty dodgy.
I can't tell, is this a human being squatting that weight or a garbage bag filled with pudding squatting that weight?
Weren't you supposed to kill yourself last night? Or did you just forget to take your name off when you posted it?
What if someone told this guy here how to arch properly? He'd probably be up there bench wise
I didn't make that post
I'm sure he knows what he's doing. The guy benches more than anyone here at glad the bodyweight.
