Even by e-statting polls we've done here, the number of people who can do 1/2/3/4 is relatively low, and that number is still very low in commercial gyms. However, the idea that everybody who claims to be able to do a 315 squat needs to provide proof tells me that you probably haven't ever picked up a weight in your life. I'm not claiming that these number should be reached in a super short time period, but anybody who's dedicated themselves to training for a year or so should definitely be able to hit 315 for 1, or else you've got a case of fuckarounditis in the gym.

As I said before, a strong majority on this board can't do 1/2/3/4, nobody is disputing that, yet 315x1 on a squat is definitely not a number that's unfathomable on any level that it would require proof. Did you not play any sports growing up? There are usually a fair few highschool athletes who can hit numbers like that at any given school.

Yeah it's okay. But I have lifted weights for 10 years. In those ten years I have probably had no more than 10 weeks total, and not continuously, where I didn't lift for more than 7 days. And during some of them I was skiing or doing cadet camps.

That honestly seems to be my default 1rm for those lifts. I broke my ankle a while ago. I didn't lift for 3 months then after a few weeks of easing my back in I wanted to see where I was at and bam 1/2/3/4 for 1rm. I work 50+ hours a week doing manual labor so my recovery is shit too.
I rounded my back a little bit at the bottom, but I got this 340 squat a couple weeks ago as a new 1RM.

Well the fact that you keep insisting a 315lb squat is something that would warrant a demand of proof shows at the very least that you think it's noteworthy enough to be put under scrutiny, but among people who take training seriously it's not really something anybody would bat and eye at. If somebody was trying to gain something out of e-statting, you wouldn't go with a 315x1 squat, that's not really impressive and nobody will give a flying fuck, they'd say something like 400-500lbs.

I had the same problem, it was because I wasn't hitting depth in my squat. I lowered my squat numbers and worked on my form. Once I was squating with better form my DL shot up.
Ur form is probably janky either that or you never did any sort of manual labour or any form of exercise in your life, everything makes deadlifting easier.
Either that or you have truly goddawful leverages for deadlifting which can happen. I was able to 200kg after 8 months or something, but I worked manual jobs most of my life.
It might be what is called, I believe, selection bias. I don't know if it is THE thing I'm thinking about, but I'm not native. Aside from e-statters there seriously might be many people squatting 315 for sets here on Jow Forums. It is a respectable level of strength and something one would probably want to tell others about. On the other hand, squatting like 225 for 1 is not that strong if you are strength training. So you've got like 1 user squatting 315x5 who posts about it against, say, 9 Anons squatting 225x1 who don't post about it - why would they?
It's the same with dick size, some guys may actually be big and posting the truth and others are just e-statting.
I bench 305x1 at 170 BW 5'11. It took me about 1 and 1/3 years to achieve. I deadlifted 390x1 and squatted... 275x1 high bar atg. My squat is pathetic, I've been training it just 1/3 year short of bench and now I snapped my back with romanian deadlifts 315x1 in oly shoes. Therefore I'm still about 2 weeks away from continuing squat training when my back unfucks itself finally while I'm making bench gains on the regular. I'll probably bench 315 before I even squat 260 again. Sucks.
So yeah, I think regular posters actually can lift those weights and are over 5% of posters here easily.

And I’m one of the strongest in most gyms I go to. Never the strongest since there’s always a couple of serious riders but 90% of gym goers are duel and probably can maybe do 0.5/1.5/2.5/3.5 at best - the latter two being exceptionally rare.

My arms are literally the same length as my 5'5 girlfriend's arms. I should be way better at benching than I am. deadlift is a nightmare.
If you focus on adding weight to the bar it's pretty easy to ramp up to the 300~500 zone on squat/deadlift quickly.
I do the patrician bulgarian split swuat for a pr of 170lbs at 150lbs bodyweight. Deadlift is for fag ego lifters
