I find that I tend to scare them.
For example, I'll be walking down an empty hallway and if there is a girl heading my way she'll either put her eyes straight to the floor or even turn her head to the side and stare at the wall.
There have been a few brave ones that have made eye contact but that scares me and I just keep looking straight ahead.

I only mention that I wonder why they don’t approach because I’m dealing with the fact that lifting hasn’t cured my shyness. If we lived in a perfect world, both genders would approach each other and casually start to get to know one another.
