The supermarket near my work has pre-made meals that're usually something like potatoes + fish/shrimp/chicken + corn for less than $5.

water takes more than 2 minutes to boil
pasta takes more than 6-8 minutes to cook
you have to let it drain/sit after before eating it

you're looking at 20 min+ just to cook it

Fruit, raw eggs, artisanal cheese, nuts
If you're feeling manly go for a steak tartare

Carrots are also nice or just some tomatoes
You can always get yourself a baguette if you're feeling like carbs
