Pot if you use a bong or bubbler is pretty good especially if you live somewhere with MM, wraps and non glass pipes are bad. A lot about pot has to do with what you’re smoking, either way it has tar but if you’re buying off a dealer regularly you might be regularly smoking badly grown outdoor exposed to chemicals or badly cured or stored improperly.

Alcohol is technically poison but there are certain types that are alright, lighter liquors like gin and vodka will get you less hungover than rum or whiskey but its still generally not good to drink too much of that, red wine is usually good if you don’t get a jug wine brand and avoid being a wino, certain beers can be alright if you avoid most things mass produced american or mexican, ipa or anything heavily hopped.

Alcohol is a LOT more fun if you're typically inhibited

It's that it doesn't get in the way of lifting and you can get a lot of motivation/peace of mind with it.
I've had good and bad trips, but I still feel like I've gotten something out of the bad trips.

I don't think drugs deserves the hate it gets. Once in a blue moon it's alright because it can allow you to have an insane experience that can change your perceptions on certain things. Some of my best moments were while I was high. However if you get addicted then you are seriously fucking up

Can you give examples? I had a trip on LSD that made me super motivated to lift. If I tensed a muscle it felt rock hard as if there was 100% concentration into that tense if that made sense

I have the same issue if I smoke. If I take a small amount of edibles like 3-5 mg I feel great and do not get the psychosis crap.

I was doing weed every day at the start of the year and I agree but you see a lot of people say it doesn't affect them. Now I'm at once a week and it's a lot better.

I must say, weed does the opposite to me then to pretty much everyone. I've only gotten anxiety 2 or 3 times and it really makes me want to chat up girls. It helps me with social gains more then being drunk does (unless I'm about to vomit drunk).

Makes me a lazy shit. I know people who do it every day and they're fine and way more hard working for me but it just varies for everyone.

Same here but only if it's high quality sativa. Some mids or decent indica every now and then chills me out and I can have a good time feeling the body high and the giggles with a good friend. I hate getting the head highs though.

Also forgot to add, from 18-21/22ish I smoked almost everyday. Most of my "friends" smoked everyday too, once I stopped smoking weed they didnt hit me up or would ignore me. If you're a stoner with stoner friends and decide to stop smoking you'll find out pretty soon who your real friends are or arent. If you smoke weed just do it late at night so you still get your workouts and shit done in the day. with alcohol you have to go 5 days without drinking everytime you drink if you want to avoid losing gains
