I fucking hate the way I look. I lost 40lbs, but put about 15 back on when work picked up, and having a bitch of a time getting it off. I gym almost every day PPL routine with cardio thrown in. Don't count calories, but eat a protein smoothie, bowl of chili or some eggs, and maybe a protein bar a day. I'm at my sisters for leaf thanksgiving and I've been eating like shit the entire time, drinking etc. No gym cause I'm out of town. Feel like I'm never gonna make it.

I've personally had great success with keto. It's also good if you have a will power problem, as there's higher stakes for cheating. On any other diet every now and then I'd go 'eh fuck it, I'll eat at a bigger deficit tommorrow' and eat a pizza or some shit. On keto you know eating carbs will throw you out of ketosis, and will take another 3-4 days to regain. This greater loss really does help you dismiss the urges to cheat on your diet.

Heaviest was 145kg (320 pounds) around November last year. Didn't exercise or watch calories, just cut out all soft drink and alcohol. Continued to eat KFC on the regular like the junkie I was. Still dropped to 135kg (300 pounds) as of Sept this year.
Been taking weightloss seriously for the last month or so (pic related) with regular low intensity cardio and lifting 3x a week. Started sort of doing the keto meme again (I tried last year, failed), but I'm not really paying attention to macros since it's a meme and I'm doing fine without it.
I'm eating well below my 2700cal maitenance and only really get hungry during night and lunchtime. I don't eat breakfast.
Going to GP tormorrow to see if I have any health problems from being a fat POS my entire life. Overall I'm feeling pretty good, thanks Jow Forums.

I know macronutrients are important. By meme I'm referring to the macros that the ketogenic diet proposes. I'm mostly keeping an eye on my caloric intake with a secondary focus on getting enough protein throughout the day and limiting carbs to those in veggies.

Is it ok for me to treat myself once a week with a 1.25 bottle of coca cola zero to control my carvings? Well yeah, for strictly cutting purposes if you're noticeably overweight/obese (not cutting like 3-5 kg, but 30-50 or more) macros are not even that important. At 150 kg you can reliably not eat anything for a week and realistically there would be no problem. I think macros will become directly proportional to the weight you lost. At 150 kg you eat whatever under the calorie limit, even nothing at all. At 90 kg you'll have to pay more attention to the nutritional value of foods, and 70 kg calories are not even important anymore, and macros/micros are the rule. And then the roles reverse. The skinnier you are and the more weight you have to gain, the less important macros become and the more important are calories and calorie-dense foods.

I think I've went Keto without realising it. What are the symptoms? I've been looking through my MFP history and it's more protein and fat than carbs. I mostly eat chicken/steak and eggs and veggies, with porridge in the morning. It's hard to not avoid carbs though as you seem to need more to feel full and they take a while to cook.

Think high volume foods, eat fruits and veg to fill yourself up for lower calories. Eating melons helps a lot since they’re sweet but essentially nothing but fiber and water, good luck brah.

You have to make a gradual and lasting change for weight to stay off and keep it off. It will take time to make new habits. First just rat at a deficit once you find your TDEE and do intermittent fasting 16/8. You'll slowly start to lose and won't have the shock if changing your diet drastically. Eat some bad stuff and don't be too strict with yourself but try and stick to the calorie limit. Once you get used to that try adding more nutritious and filling foods. Fats and meat really help me stay full. Eventually the less you eat, the less you WANT TO eat and your stomach will shrink to a reasonable size and you'll be full faster. Being a little hungry now and then isn't the end of the world, and it will go away after an hour or so. You can also start to experiment with OMAD, more fasting, etc. Find what works for you and what will sustain you and become your new normal. I lost 30lbs just eating 500 calorie deficit and doing 16/8 the first time. I'm still losing, although I'm stuck in skinnyfat mode trying to cut. Good luck user and don't rush it! It's a process

Haven't had a restful sleep in days, I actually haven't slept today and I feel like utter shit. Tried to do my usual routine but half hour in I was feeling super weak and my head hurt.
I need to lost about 30kg or 80lbs to be a healthy weight. I've been overweight essentially since I was a child. I've tried a few times with only about 10lbs or so success, but I've got the motivation and plan figured out. I'm going to start doing about 2 hours of cardio, treadmill/bike a week on Wednesdays, but I'll definitely increase it to at least 3 days a week as soon as I'm comfortable going. I hope to lose about 30lbs or so by march and then other 45lbs well into next year. I really want to get this fat nailed down for good now.

My exercise right now includes 60 minutes of walking on the treadmill (burning 300 calories so pretty slow) 2-3 times a week and regarding lifts I do 2 kinds of lifts whenever I'm at the gym so I hopefully don't lose that much muscle. I eat around 100 gr protein a day.

Any of you fat fucks do squat? I don't seem to be able. I stretched so I can bend down without weight, but add the rod, and my right leg bends inward, my back gets all wonky and it looks like I'm failing hard. It's embarrassing.
All I'm thinking about is food and sadness. I despise my life, I'm always bored, and I'm either watching youtube or Twitch, and at a rare occasion a tV-show but I "save those for motivation" as an excuse. And I read about food, I browse /ck/, I see what offers are at the nearby supermarkets and plan my dinner. The planning is OK, but the hours to fill is what's hard. I may plan oats for breakfast, some crackerbread with stuff on it for lunch, pork chop for dinner with potato mash or barley and frozen veggies. A banana for evening. But in reality, I end up with eating the oats, having a glass of juice, eating lunch earlier and maybe have egg & bacon instead, a glass of milk or juice, and for dinner I add a little extra, maybe add fat reduced sour cream as well and just have more then planned overall. And since I'm bored, I eat earlier then intended and have to fill the gaps.
I spent a disgustingly large amount of money on junk food the past months and I'm ashamed, and gained lots of weight and I feel like a lubbery tard of lard at this point.
