This. Japanese grammar is easy as fuck, it's just that, unless you already speak a language that has received a lot of vocabulary from Chinese, you have to learn an almost completely new and different base of vocabulary from that of most European languages.

I doubt 2136 signs in the major alphabet is in any sense repetetive, and the first step to learning the language is by knowing how to read it in my experience
