Survivalism. Learn how to make friction fires, make traps for hunting, debris shelters, etc.
Do you want a hobby you can do by yourself or with other people?
Drawing is a hobby that you can spend a lot of time on and that requires little material to get started with. Consider ordering an instruction book online, if you wanna spend less time on the internet in general

There are plenty to choose from user, I barely scratched the surface.
Learn something about financial markets. Or go sailing or snowboarding. Those are things I enjoy.
not op but this is so hard in europe... theres no proper forests here at all. id have to drive for hours to get to some semi remote location. the point furthest from any road is 5 miles in my country...

Damn right. Biggest forest in bike reach is 4 trees.
Boxing

These are the best hobbies imo. What do you think OP?

Sometimes I play an offline videogame.
I like biking, hiking, woodwork (if I have a workspace), really anything outdoors though. Living near wilderness is great, but when I'm not living near wilderness even a city park will do. Random encounters are also fun, some of the best people to talk to are the just-barely-crazy homeless people who live in the park or their rusty 1988 Plymouth.
I also like researching history/philosophy. Jesus was real and He is your only Salvation, user.
I used to play more vidya but as I get older (30s now) I find myself more drawn to real life hobbies that mean something or teach me something.
I agree with outdoor activities are great. A lot of those skills you dont actually need to be in the middle of nowhere to master. You can join clubs that are into that sort of thing too depending where you are.
Martial arts are great, weight lifting, parkour, swimming, climbing all make you a better person. Consider online courses from a university. In Canada they are pretty cheap and the tax benifits more than pay for them if you have a job (i.e. by getting the part time student designation you get an income tax write off that basically pays for the course). This can be a great way to start getting a formal approach to philosophy or psychology or history without having to share a room with a bunch of whiny millennial feminist snowflakes.
Car/motorbike work can be fun and useful too but there are costs wth that. You need some money to get started but if you get half decent you can start buying projects and then flipping them for money (I have a friend who makes about $1000/month doing this on the side).
Learn an instrument. fuck you Jow Forums, my reply is original you cunt
Astronomy is good too. There are lots of apps to help you get started. Go out and spend some time with just your eyes first and consider a lens if you find it interesting. There are lots of clubs you can join too. I like it because it is a classical science that gives you something to talk about.
I like writing and model kits/gundams I'd recommend both
see you could breed moths
Take up horse riding. Its fun, its gets you fit and healthy, doesn't take long to become proficient at it, you get a horse that will become a loyal and good friend. Plus horse riding clubs are literally filled to the brim with women, usually attractive but there is always something not right with horsey women. So fun for a roll in the hay with but no more unless you luck out.
Loads of cool competitions to get involved in too if you get into it. Hunter Trials are great.
Get a lizard and make their tank really cool, lizards are fucking awesome and you can feed them live mice lmao
lmao yikes, hold that, yurop
Literally this, also unironically.
post your lizard
Play DND, the social interaction does a robot some good
I've been doing calisthenics for about 4 months, 5-6 times a week. It's easy stuff to do at home but you can still push and challenge yourself, and develop your body in the process. As far as hobbies go i'd say it's fairly productive because being happier with how I look has made me a lot more confident, plus people who I know at uni have complemented me on my physique which is cool.
was he playing that music irl?

Those are my offline hobbies. Also, I'm planning to buy a dog. For the first few years there is some training to do, so that's going to be a hobby also.
Pic related.
Pretty sure he added that in editing the video. Most horses would get pretty annoyed by music playing that loud nearby them when doing a demanding activity.
Bullshit. Go to Poland, trees and forests every fucking where
Lifting, gardening, hunting, fishing, woodwork (building things), vehicles, painting, drawing, playing an instrument, animal care / walking, reading books, urban exploring, nature exploring, photography, knitting, tanning / leatherwork, blacksmithing, fletching, glass blowing... there is a lot OP. They do not all require lots of money.
Painting minis can be buying bulk pre painted ones and stripping the paint
You can scavenge and salvage materials for blacksmithing and making what you need
Vehicles you can pull parts from wreckers
Do not go into a new hobby looking for what expierenced people are using. Start basic and see if you like it and develop a passion. Find a way to monetize it, then use what is made to pay for more.
Same here in Ireland and 95% of our land was deforested. You still can find one nearby most areas unless you live right in the middle of the city centre, even then the biggest park in Europe is still nearby with some woods.
you need friends for this. Do not go to open dnd nights at LGSs unless you want to meet people even more autistic than you.
outside of consuming media privately at home, I'm into drawing and hiking. nothing else really seems to interest me, other than travelling by car I guess but can't do much of that.
idk how this works so can you explain it a bit more
like do i need to go out and buy a fucking horse
Become a hunter if you're in an area where it's easy to do. Buy yourself a rifle, get a hunting license, kill some deer.
Nah that wouldn't be the best idea. What you'd do first is sign up for some riding lessons at a riding club. They'll start you off on a nice, calm horse that has a lot of patience. Once you've done your lessons and have gotten an idea of what you are doing. Then you rent a horse off the club, trying to stick with the same horse every time that you do so it will get used to you. After that its up to you what happens.
If you live in a city and have limited space, if you buy a horse then you'll need to stable it which is the most expensive part of horse ownership. If you live in the suburbs or countryside but don't have land. There are usually loads of fields available to rent for grazing rights, it might cost your around 100e for the year to rent it for your horse. Thats the most expensive part about keeping them. Their food is relatively inexpensive or even free at certain times of the year. They'll need to have their shoes done by a farrier every couple of months but this is inexpensive too. Mind you if you do own a horse and want to go to competitions I found it better value to buy a jeep and horse box instead of renting one each time.
I'm getting into cooking and teaching myself guitar on youtube... good depression/anxiety therapy
