Guy in class asks how much I bench for reps

>guy in class asks how much I bench for reps
>tell him my 1RM + 45

Ya we know

>someone asks for my bench
>subtract 100 lbs to make it more believable yet still impressive

so you told them you bench 0 pounds?

> get asked permanently if i lift and how i do it
> look ripped as fuck
> tell everybody i don't lift and just eat trash food all the time

>ask me my bench max
>say my actual max plus 5 pounds
im out of control

Cringe and bluepilled balding manlet response

>Guy asks what my PRs are
>Tell him I've never maxed out a lift

hey I'm not balding

Friendly reminder to NEVER tell the normies that you lift.

based and redpilled, if they ask just say you sometimes walk your dog

When someone compliments my physique/asks about my routine, I tell them I take my fish for walks regularly and do competitive birdwatching

based

>guy in class asks how much I bench for reps
> I round my max up to the fraction of a pound based on the inconsistencies of each manufactured pl8, adjusting for the fact that a "pound" is a human construct and has no standard in the natural world.

Same famalam
You shouldn’t need to tell them, they should know by looking at you.

>someone asks me my bench
>tell them exactly what it is
>they say "wow holy shit"
>their words resonate within me as a reminder that the entire world is lying to me as a joke about how ugly and weak i am (imagine telling a manlet that he's tall, it's like that)

based basedposter hahaxD

Normie definition of strong is crazy low. I had some girls in their late teens and early 20s who were super impressed I could rep 2 plates years ago when I started lifting.

people literally don't believe me when I tell them that I can OHP 225 after 3 years of natty lifting

Yeah it's stupid. Especially if you have any numbers on any lift over 500 lbs. I can leg press (no squats back is fucking wrecked) 600+ lbs for reps which is not at all impressive for a guy my size. They ask me if I'm a bodybuilder and ask if I do steroids. Im just some old fat guy who lifts 4 days a week lol. Fucking hilarious.

A 12 year old girl can leg press 600 pounds

D E V I L I S H T A C T I C S

Yes, as I said it's not impressive but normie don't know anything about lifting. They are stupid as shit when it comes to the iron.

What's your bench, it can't be that ridiculous

>someone asks my bench
>tell him my 1RM
>"i used to do (my 1RM+20) but then i hurt my shoulder haha dont bench bro its dangerous"

>anyone asks me how much I bench
>Tell them: "Who cares, everyone lies about it anyways"

I must not cope.
Cope is the mind-killer.
Cope is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my cope.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the cope has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I remember before I started lifting, I thought 135 bench was top-tier
Now I bench 325 (same user that can OHP 225), and I still feel like I have much more strength to gain
I guess we're all naive at one point

>bragging about constantly being called a DYEL

>people still have to ask if you lift
Get a load of this retard

Yeah Jow Forums don't realize how naive people are. Your lifts are impressive if you lift frequently. Normie don't know what the world record is for DL. If you love weight it seems crazy impressive to them. My mother calls me over to her house to love things and is like "Let me help you lift this thing that is 100lbs." Because she thinks of strength from her prospective. I can barely lift this so someone who is strong can lift it but it's hard. Like no mom I could pick up this 85 lb dresser and throw it 50 feet.

very true, it seems like perspective is everything
it can even surpass lifting, and venture over into other aspects of life
like my friends who got good grades in high school without studying, yet got shit on by university
their perspective on education made them think "damn i'm a genius, i don't have to study", yet they were only surrounded by easy courses
similar to people who aren't surrounded by powerlifters who think that somebody who can lift a 50lb dresser is an absolute unit
makes me think that, since I mostly surround myself with powerlifters, my perspective on my own strength is negatively impacted
maybe now my 325 bench is much more impressive than i thought it was, even though I know dudes who can bench 405+

Attached: 1538249285694.png (611x407, 124K)

>Guy in my research group tells everyone he's 6 ft tall when he's obviously only 5'11"
>Tell group I'm also 6 ft tall even though I'm 6'5"

The look on his face was priceless

>boss asks me how much I bench
>"uh, 250lbs"
>"oh really user? And what plates do you use to equal that weight?"
>FUCK

Attached: image.jpg (424x318, 24K)

>yeah I bench 1 pl8

what?

Many normies believe fit celebrities don't lift, they literally believe Muh Genetics

I actually giggled, thanks m8

i've literally seen normies that can't bench 3 plates

I can't

Soneday I will, though

Same

Attached: ork.jpg (680x456, 55K)

This. They're gonna be skeptical anyways. Why waste your time giving an answer?

u cheeky devil

>i only do wii fit
how are you guys still falling for this?

I still say this to this day since I started browsing this board in 2010

fucking BASED

So you tell him 65

Based haha poster

Never met anyone like that m8, are you talking about real people you have met who have said such a thing, or are you talking about what you heard someone on the internet say.

Hes implying he cant do plate math

>someone asks for my bench
>be mostly honest, say my max (+10lbs for good measure, not like he'll ever see me do it)
>they say 50lbs heavier than mine
>"but I was a lot heavier than you were at the time"

Attached: 1506584329019.jpg (500x581, 30K)

Underrated, have a (you)

>see actor in movie
>friends gawk at their body
>say he is actually dyel and I could outlift him any day of the week
>also say he is on gear
>they start reeing and call me delusional/jealous

People still to this day think Arnold was natty. Fucking dumb apes

how did you get your bench from 225-315? ive been stuck for a while it's frustrating

I get swole playing fantasy football.

coping this hard

>it's another Jow Forums pretends 3pl8 for reps isn't impressive while 3/4ths can't even bench 2pl8 episode

Attached: stateoffit.png (1080x1920, 344K)

Eat shit bitch

>have huge gyno
>literally huge
>also have big arms
>looks like I have a huge chest when wearing a shirt
>believable because I have big arms
>normies believe it's huge pecs, not gyno
>mfw I only bench 175 for reps

Attached: devilish.jpg (470x595, 201K)

"how did you get so big?"
"uh.. i do karate and go jogging sometimes"

always works

Kek

>competitive birdwatching

Lost
