Just did 50 kg (110lbs) OHP 1x4. Last time I tried it I only managed 1 rep.

Tried 165 lbs for the first time today, did 2 reps.
Proud tbqh, I weigh 150lbs and want to get to 175lbs sometime.
It's not great but I'm happy at my progress.

Yes just ask for a spot
That's really good for a girl
Just back squat 295x5. is this good for 6 months of training?
>5 years
You better be tiny, otherwise that's really slow progress.
How new are you to lifting?
I'm OP
Sounds about right. That's basically optimal for most.
OHPing your bodyweight is a big deal, great job.
this
Yes especially if you were skinny as fuck, people don't understand I weighed 120 lbs when I started lifting and could only bench the bar and that was hard as shit. I bench 225 now and that took years. im 185 now so that's a healthy weight and I consider that a good amount of weight I just add reps on days I feel good. people saying its shit progress were big already they don't know the skeleton struggle.
Put really simply, to increase a specific lift you have to do that lift. A lot. Generally the more sets per week, the better.
