But on a different tangent, why do fat people, primarily fat women, speak so much about being confident, as if they are overcoming something? Most people I know, skinny or fit or not, aren't even relatively confident. I have a load of confidence issues, and most of them stem from my being a skeleton when I was younger. I'm more fit now, but I still have that in my head. But I don't go on Instagram to post about it, or try to convince people I'm confident.
