>tfw 67kg
>5'10"
>benchpress is 55kg

Do you do both on the same day?

It takes a long time to increase lifts, especially bench press.

It took me 8 years to hit 200kg bench press regularly and these are the expectations i like to set for newer lifters. Its tough to imagine the future and lifting for so long. Its hard to admit too and its why a lot of guys who do bench this much lie a lot. Shits not cool when its achieved so slow.

Do Smolov for bench. I did it this August because of a back injury and my bench 1RM went from 115kg to 130kg

I weight 75kg and my bench 5rep is 54kg, ohp 35kg.

how long until 100kg? and how much did you bench at the beginning?

>5'10, 94kg
>2 years lifting
>bench press 140kg, ohp 90kg
feelsgoodman

I started out at 135lbs 3 months ago and currently benching 215lbs.

You know the fucker on YT that bench 410lbs @ 154lbs BW that everyone keeps posting?

I followed his benching routine and the result has been pretty good.

Forgot to mention, my BW is 162lbs

It took me about 2 years to hit 100kg

4 years in I had 140kg

6 years in I was at 170kg
Between 7 and 8 yrs I hit 200kg and now I am working on 225kg(In US 5pl8). Hoping to hit 5 pl8 in less than 10 years. All natty by the way.

Ive never seen anyone bench press as much as me irl. Not even strongman/olympic/powerlifting gyms. Not even guys juiced to oblivion. In fact all those guys always praise and respect me. This is real life.

Having my experience it's always funny to see posts and estats here and telling me I did something wrong.

>how can i bench 200kg
by weighing 100+kg first and foremost

Post body

>All natty by the way.

i am 5'8 90kg use your imagination

Here are my numbers to give realistic numbers.

Month, bodyweight, 5 rep max:
06/2016, 73kg, 60kg
01/2017, 80kg, 75kg
12/2017, 82kg, 90kg
05/2018, 78kg, 90kg (after cutting)
10/2018, 85kg, 100kg

...

I'm natty and I bench 130kg after almost 4 years of training (of which only 2 years and 4 months following serious programs and not fucking around on machines), so it doesn't seem impossible to hit 200kg in 8-9 years, especially if you bench 2 o 3 times a week

wait hol' up isn't she 15?

Just started lifting
>86kg bodyweight at 6ft
>doing 5x5 and struggling to complete at 40kg

Why is my bench so shit?
Starting this week im backing the weight down to 25kg and running for 4x12 to try and make sure my form is on point because it feels like im wobbling all over the place. It's like i have no accessory muscles

You should have started with the bar and shouldn't have added weight if you couldn't complete your sets with good form

Nobody gives a fuck about your perfs

Normies pls go away

Bench 80 kg 5reps
Ohp

71 kg btw

its about being big to begin with u will never progress passed 100kg

You look like a dyel because you are one
