I havent had it regularly in a long time but it happened fairly regularly several years ago. Nothing special. Id get the common black shadow figure(s) by my bedside here and there. Last time i had it was maybe 2 weeks ago after a long period of not having one. No shadow figures but i had just had some sort of surreal nightmare and had half woken up. Couldnt move and figured "shit, sleep paralysis again god dammit"
i dont have hallucinations
i just get scared and twitch a lot
also it seemed to go away when i was on anti-depressants, when i stopped taking them the sleep paralysis came back
i went to thailand and accidentally brought a ladyboy back to my room. she sucked me off and then i realized she was a dude when i went for the puss. when i went to sleep that night i had a night terror that morning. the ladyboy was crawling over the top of me like a spider and i couldn't move or talk or anything and he looked evil as shit. that morning was really fucked up but i shook it off
Only ever occurred to me once and I had some shitty cliche hallucination of the grim reaper
When I was struggling with depression in college I had a few episodes with hallucinations. Usually they were just the typical awake but not really deal which is still horrifying.
>dreaming
>walking into campus
>hear a low tone
>look to the sky
>see a round black object
>it's slowly moving across the sky
>pull my phone out and take a picture
>turn around and wake up to a pitch black bedroom
>can't move
>a low tone fills my ears
>it's climbing in volume
>with every second the tone becomes more and more painful and distorted
>a green light band appear around the ceiling of my bedroom
>characters appear on the band and change to what I interpreted as various messages
>vision blurs
>feels as if gravity is crushing me
>bass tone completely fills my ears
>black out
>immediately awake to my bedroom being slightly lit by daylight
I used to get it all the time, but not so often nowadays. Anyways, a few weeks ago I experienced sleep paralysis as well as hallucinations, here's what I remember:
>wake up from a dream
>can't move, paralyzed
>start trying to cry out for help, asking for someone to come shake me or touch me so I can snap out of it
>my dad enters the room, walks up to me and starts staring at me
>I'm filled with anger as I realize he's teasing me, he gets close but won't touch me
>I see my mom in the corner of the room just silently watching
>everything feels off, I'm suddenly filled with dread
>my father raises out his hands and holds them over me and starts chanting in tongues in a very strange voice
>my mom joins in
>I realize they aren't my parents
>I don't even live with my parents anymore, they're both 7 thousand miles away
>I finally actually wake up, realize it was a hallucination
>feel incredibly uncomfortable and wanna leave the room but ignore it and just fall back asleep
Definitely one of the scarier hallucinations I've got. Isn't it strange how 99% of sleep paralysis hallucinations are so dark and sinister? I can only think of one occasion where they were peaceful. I heard a bunch of voices murmuring and saw bright lights, felt like going through a tunnel of warmth and love. I felt at peace and very calm and euphoric. That was a long time ago but I still remember it, it left such a strong impression on me.
i used to have sleep paralysis once or wice every night when i was drinking heavy a few years ago. if anyones interested i can greentext a story or two
>senior year of highschool, 5 years ago
>I wake up at about 4 am
>looking at wall cause sleep on side
>can't move
>what
>even my eyes can't move around, can only blink and control breathing
>vividly see in my head an alien in the corner across from me, typical gray with big eyes.
>he extends arm and holds up hand towads me
>my brain trying to explain the intense tingling feeling in my back from my nerves getting confused
>brief panic
>accept that I'm going to die and that it's better to have a few minutes of panic than more years of depression
>move finger
>wait, I can move
>look
>no alien
>oh my god, why is my thinking messed up that bad that I accepted death
>pic related till time for school
yes please, I'm very interested. If you would, post the scariest one and also the strangest one
I dunno if its sleep paralysis, hallucinations right after waking or just plain boring nightmares but recently my drinking has been catching up with me. The more interesting ones have been some dude banging on my window trying to get in before getting shot by cops. And a couple other times of people trying to bang on my back door.
Had a sleep paralysis episode once where some black creature was running around my room. Scary shit.
Other than that 99% of my episodes are about me trying to get out of bed and failing.
>be me
>experienced sleep paralysis once in light
>wake up in bed
>can't move
>can't speak
>sense a presence in the room
>that of an obese man
>don't see him directly, just feel a shadowy presence in the corner of the room just out of my vision
>want to scream for my mom
>can't
>eventually wake up
I didn't know anything about sleep paralysis before this experience, and when I googled it, it turns out feeling a presence in the room is common.
it only really happened when i was tired as shit and my sleeping schedule was out of tune
>be me
>lay in bed around 1am to try and fix my sleep schedule
>grew up in church
>had lots of stories of exorcisms and demons told by older church bros
>feel vulnerable about shit like tht
>one night flopping around for hours til i can fall asleep
>6am, a little delirious
>in between sleep and waking
>feel body stiff up
>see long hair from bottom of my bed floating up toward my face
>try to close eyes but can see everything
>long hair parts to reveal pale bony face with wide eyes smiling
>feel something like a finger pressing down on my tongue
>hear whispering in my ear
>'igotyouigtoyouigotyouigotyou
>long haired figure right up in my face eyes as big as fists
>pressure on my chest like a stack of books
i dont really remember how it ended desu but i almost shit myself
Shit like this makes me actually pause and think about if spirits are real and stuff or if this is just our imaginations. I have a pretty vivid imagination but sometimes I'll think of things I don't like and can't get out of my head, and I wonder if it's my subconscious doing things or something else.
>go to sleep
>hear noise
>wake up
>can't move
>someone is at the foot of the bed
>try to move
>can only wiggle fecklessly
>try to scream
>can only make dying sealion sounds
>wiggle and squeal for a bit
>finally manage to warn gf
>she says "what's wrong?!"
>realize I'm just being retarded
...nothing
>ok weirdo
>she goes back to sleep
>doesn't even appreciate that I tried to warn her of our imminent doom
I've had them two times so far and they were both pretty weird and not really usual sleep paralysis encounters.
>sleeping then suddenly wake up
>bed feels like its moving
>see shadows of waves at the side of room
>wtf
>dont try to move but still notice I cant
> fall asleep
The other time was in a car and was more auditory than the contrast
>wake up from a nap
>car is still
>hear the sound of a mom, a really whiny voice
>try to get up and cant
>the sound the mom made repeated like 10 times in my head
>scared shitless
>I try to move and it happens again, her voice all at once
>try to force my way out of it
>finally tremble enough and get up from that hell
I get it everyonce in a while, but I never get halluciantions. It always freaks me out even though I know exactly what's happening.
yeah im not christian anymore but growing up in the church and being influenced by pastors who were really into demons and possessions and shit got me fucked up. i dont believe it but i still feel myself being scared about possible demons and the spiritual/demonic world. hope you have a good night's sleep though user
Hasn't happened to me a lot, but I've experienced this a few times. Only once was memorable enough to leave an impression.
>wake up in bed
>can't move, can't speak, and have heavy weight on chest
>all I can see is the ceiling because I'm sleeping on my back
>feel a presence in the room
>feel weird tingling on my dick
>hear the sound of a woman's laugh
>I remember hearing myself panic in my head as I tried to get my body to move
>eventually it starts to move again, but my heart is beating a million times a second
>Had a bit of a boner
It was hard to go back to sleep after that and I spent the rest of the day freaked out about the idea of a ghost being in my apartment and pissed off she laughed at my dick if she does theoretically existed. Also debating on whether that technically counts as losing ones virginity.
