Chest strength is always the same no matter what I do

>chest strength is always the same no matter what I do
>everything EVERYTHING else is getting stronger except chest (the most important part of the body)
fuck me lads

you stupid retard, back is the most important part, then shoulders, then chest.

NOW NECK YOUR SORRY ASS UP!

My bench wont ever go up. But chest flies with cables have made my chest grow at least

same here man stuck at 205 with a 425 deadlift

I'm going to assume "chest strength" means bench.
Are you eating enough?
Are you sleeping enough?
Are you taking sufficient rest periods?
If the answer to all of these is absolutely yes, up your frequency my guy.

yeah I do everything by the book man
bench is stuck at 205 but the rest are increasing.. I don't know what to do anymore man

My bench is supposed to completely stall and actually go down if I've been cutting for a long time right? My lifts have actually started to get weaker, but I've been dieting all year because I was so fat when I started

Same thing op, but in my case it is my back.

deload you fucking idiot

A lot of big lifters I know said 200-225 was a big hurdle for them get over. You may just need to keep pushing. Every time you go in 210 for an extra rep. Once, then twice, so on and so forth.

Chest is probably the least important part

You probably aren't doing enough volume or frequency for your chest. Chest can handle a lot of volume

531

Smolov Jr turned my 2pl8 1 rep into 2pl8 for 7 in 3 weeks lol

531 is terrible for upper body strength

How come?

Raised my bench to 70kg in one month, is this good achievement?

I run 531 and I think it's a great program for the leg lifts but there isn't enough volume in it for the upper body to make gains. The trap that a lot of people fall into is that they are a lot stronger with their leg lifts initially which makes the weight sufficiently heavy for the 9-15+ (not counting accessory) reps you get a week from the working sets. But it's not heavy enough to make gains on the chest. You should do a high volume program like smolov for the bench until your bench is strong enough to justify the minimal volume that 531 has.

Basically you need to bench a LOT to make chest gains. Like 75-125 reps a week

nothing in one month is a good achievement lol

upper body needs more volume

squats and deads respond well to singles, doubles, and triples but the presses not so much

Then, like I said, increase frequency.
