Dates

So are dates good thing to eat?
They are apparently full of sugars. But they have fiber so that mitigates some of that insulin spike. As well as some vitamins and minerals.
Or am I just delusional and its basically the same as a snickers bar?

In moderation
>But they have fiber so that mitigates some of that insulin spike.
They are, like, 10% fiber, 90% sugar. Chocolate has fiber too you know.

So I guess eating half a kilo of these aint that healthy. huh.

Sugar that comes from sugar is perfectly fine, eat as much as you want. They are just high in calories.

that comes from fruit*

>Mitigates the insulin spike

So what? Less bad isn't good.

>some vitamins and minerals.

WHAT vitamins and minerals? How much of each? What other sources exist for said vitamins and minerals?

Or are you just following NPC programming that says if you have a couple bullet points as to why a food is good then it's healthy? Can't possibly spend 2 minutes looking at numbers?

>some vitamins and minerals.

What regular food item doesn't?

Eat like 5 a day with other fruits and veg. Dried fruits are awesome in moderation. Don't eat chocolate apart from special occasions.

dates help you build muscle

I eat two to four dates daily when I have them.

They're great in smoothies and can kill a sugar craving fast.

No doubt since 1 date has more then 10 grams of sugar and spike ur insulin faster then candy

>So are dates good thing to eat?
Good for hitting your carbs, since that's all there is to them.

Are you one of those retards that advocates 30 bananas a day? Every gram of fructose you eat has to be broken down by your liver, there is a limit to what is healthy

Dates and coffee. God tier combination while shitposting on Jow Forums

I eat a lot of fruit daily but I'd stay away from dates and dried fruit in general. Really easy to overeat on them

How do I get a date

That's as stupid as saying that you should limit your water intake because you can technically overdose on it. Obviously 30 fucking bananas is overkill, just like how getting 3k calories from anything is probably going to hurt you.

I think you can get like 30 for $6.49

OP pic gave me a flashback of that one user that
bred and ate cockroaches.

Pure sugar

They're healthy, but they're not particularly nutrient dense per calorie, especially compared to most fruits and vegetables. Still healthier than most processed foods of course
