Not really, whenever you get big there's always a long ass field op coming up to kill your gains, but there are a few exceptions. If you like cardio and you're okay with not being too big then you'd be fine.
As a fascist a right wing, militaristic society is the best one.
But unfortunately American politics is dominated by Democrats who want to provoke a pointless war with Russia because they're a Christian, conservative nation so it's a tough call.
The biggest problem with staying fit in the military is nutrition, especially in active Army if you live in the barracks. They're going to lose a lot of people with these new PT tests but still not giving them proper food.
11 years in the usaf
Our fitness is a joke but I look ok
>As a fascist a right wing, militaristic society is the best one.
>Fascist
>Made by an ex socialist MI6 glow in the dark spaghetti person
Opinion discarded
He's talking about actually being in the military, not larping
Fascism is literally the greatest political system ever granted to earth and a logical conclusion to Western civilization, and the fact that we rejected its teachings represents not a failure in the fascist system, but rather a failure in the human race.
>But unfortunately American politics is dominated by Democrats who want to provoke a pointless war with Russia because they're a Christian, conservative nation so it's a tough call.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>Fascism is literally the greatest political system ever granted to earth
>Yeah it was made by a MI5 undercover agent
>Sure he used to be a socialist
>Sure his buddy was a socialist
>But this socialism is better
No, I'd rather live in a national socialist/fascist country than a normal socialist one but its still socialism I have to deal with, now die
*tips fedora*
I bet you think Chile counted as fascist, too
>This type of socialism is good goy
t. absolute brainlet that doesn't understand history or fascist thought at all.
based and redpilled.
To answer you question OP, it depends what will you do in military, and you will still need to train yourself. Many people in army are weak fucks, who sit on their ases all day, esentially they're there just for the welfare benefits
>Fighting Israel's battles
Shiggy
No, I just refuse to bend over and spreadem for socialist faggots
All socialists must die
Well since Jow Forums is turning into /x/, ill leave this here
Yes, yes die for your masters in some desert shithole fighting poor people.
You're just proving my point now. Go, read up on fascism nigger, then try to discuss it. Right now you're just spewing cuckservative memes
2 years active usaf
I'm complete ottermode
No you can’t lift once you get your arms blown off for Israel
>airforce
>fitness is a joke
I don't know what you expected bro
I have a fucked back and both knees are shot, don't go infantry if you can avoid it. The reason everyone harps on about how shit pogues are and how if you're not infantry you're not 'real military' is because that's the only thing they've got.
You get no work experience out of it, the work is literal shit and you're treated like garbage, you'll wreck your body in 4 years and they won't give a shit.
>hehe go die for the party full of cat ladies and violent thugs
Shut up you dumb hue, le liberty is a meme
Chile was authoritarian capitalist and Pinochet was a good man but unfortunately philosemetic.
Fascism is the counter to semetic "civilization". You are revealing that you don't understand political systems yourself when you say socialism (which calls for the abolition of private enterprise) is the same as fascism (where private enterprise and corporations are a functional part of the system)
Read a book.
Thanks, lots of false flaggers and brainlets ITT
>le poor muslims meme
Just like the barbarians were "poor" compared to mighty Rome, they were still filthy violent savages standing in the way of civilization.
Life is brutal, get used to it.
It depends on what you do. I've been in the RCAF coming up on 9 months now, so I'll share my experience.
The end of winter is a great time to start basic because you get more or less moderate weather.
Basic training is really easy because it's really just a psychological test. People who are ridiculously out of shape will for the most part be gone in the first couple weeks. There were two in my unit: one who just walked away on day one after he found out our rooms were on the 11th floor, and the other literally started bawling into his cake in the middle of week 2 and was on suicide watch until the discharged him. Everyone who doesn't really want to be there is gone by week 6 and it's pretty much smooth sailing from then on.
I was 195 when I went in. I had been working out recreationally for 2 years prior, and I was very surprised to find out that just going to the gym doesn't actually prepare you all that well for the test, as I almost failed. Imo, playing football is probably the best way to prepare if you have that option. You do pt 2/3 times a week and it's mostly a lot of circuit training. I was above the 75th percentile at the last evaluation, in spite of smoking a pack a day (Which is really all there is to do after the day is over if you have your room sorted out. protip: don't start smoking.)
I lost a shitload of weight in basic. I don't know how much because it's practically impossible to find a scale, even at your next base depending on where you go.
Cont
These boys get it. Don’t risk your life for Jewish interests.
they trained you well
Depends on the job. I've noticed that actual combat/ non support positions tend to pt you till you quit or get fit. As for aircrew I've seen some slobs flying before, but I've yet to see a fat fighter pilot. For support positions you just have to minimum requirements usually.
The biggest thing to worry about in basic is getting injured, because then you go to the injury platoon and turn into a shit pump, on top of have to stay there that much longer.
If you're in air maintenance you go to Borden after basic, where the environment is way more relaxed. I fucked up and didn't start going to the gym again when I got there, as well as eating a lot of un-nutritious foods. Even just eating at the meal hall, which you have to unless you get a place off-base afaik there isn't much info on the nutrition info on what they serve, and there are no scales anywhere except maybe if you go to the doctor. As a result I'm up to 215 now, which isn't the heaviest I've been, but it still sucks. I'm getting back into the gym now that I'm posted, and I'm working on quitting smoking, but it's still a lot of time down the drain from a fitness perspective.
Honestly, it's been a lot of fun so far and if you stick with it the military can do a lot of things for you that no other job can (on top of the benefits and such some units get 2 weeks off at Christmas for a single day of leave, and stuff like that.) I'd definitely recommend it based on what I've done so far.
TL: DR you'll be fit if you make fit choices.
Also if you have any questions about the forces ask away, and I'll do my best to answer them.
Oh hi fellow service user. You must be in Borden now. Be careful of STDs and enjoy the hotel life in the future.
oilrig worker is more Jow Forums, also you will get loaded with cash. almost the same level of danger.
Anarcho Capitalism is the thinking man political system. Evert hing else is for delusional "intellectuals", poor people or degenerate genocidal racists.
I managed to make it out of Borden with no AIDS, still waiting on those hotels lol
didn't those barbarians colonize the entire globe?
hahahaha
I'm shipping out to basic in January next year, going infantry. I weigh 150lbs @ 5'8 and am extremely adept at body weight exercises, but I literally never do cardio.
I've been using a 40lb weight vest to work out and I also do all of my sets in quick succession now to try to improve my cardio (no break in between). I do push-ups, pull-ups, rows, lunges, dips, squats, and a few stair-climbs in my workouts at home.
I'll be okay for basic, right?
I've also checked out the forces subreddit and the amount of left-wing cucks on there has me unnerved. Will the guys in the infantry at least hate faggots?
I’m an Infantry Officer and I see kids go to basic all the time. Basically if you want to do anything cool, ask your recruiter for the Option 40 contract. It garauntees you a slot for the 75th Ranger Regiment, pending you pass all the schools.
I'm joining the Canadian Forces. I'd definitely go rangers if I was American though.
i want to join the YPG, but i currently have depression and i don't think i would be useful in combat
Be a suicide bomber.
Are you aware that you are a communist?
Cardio is very important. It's mostly high intensity, short duration. The exercises that you're doing look good. Make sure you can do 25 push ups and do push ups with pauses at the bottom and in the middle. Also work on your plank and being able to maintain a squatting position for a couple minutes, as well as holding 10 lbs out in front of you and to the sides for time. Those are the sorts of things they like to do as punishment. If you really fuck up they'll make you lie on your back and hold your feet 10 inches off the ground.
As far as left wing people go I haven't seen anything stupid yet, and the military isn't the sort of place where I'd expect snowflake types to be successful, although bare in mind that I haven't even been in for a year yet. They are very serious about harrassment and stuff like that, so it's something to keep in mind. One thing that they really stress in basic is that being in the Forces is that it's not just a job, it's also a lifestyle. The best advice that I could give you in that regard is to be a professional, and if you hate the gays or whatever then the military might not be for you.
Also, military culture is strangely homoerotic, so be prepared for that. As an anecdote, at my previous base I was sitting out in the smoke pit one evening and two guys that I know come out and start arguing about something. I don't remember how it started or what it was about, but I can tell you that it ended with "Then fucking kiss me, faggot!" They didn't end up kissing, but they were pretty fucking close to it.
Also remember that the sort of people you find on Reddit are not necessarily the sort of people that you'll meet in the military
i'm an anarchist
It really depends on the job you're doing and what physique you are going for. Infantry and SOF guys are some of the most normal looking people you meet because of the ungodly amounts of cardio they do. A lot of the super jacked guys in the military are pencil pushers who have literally nothing better to do than lift.
