I'm sure you'll someday, OP
I used to be home gym masterrace and I admit the convenience is great, but actually going to a gym and engaging with society is better.
197.5kg rogue pl8’s
Bars & dumbbells
Meat and belt corner
I admit, I'm jelly.
My weights are weak point of my gym, they're a hodge podge or plastic, bumper, and steel from a variety of different sources
very comfy setup there
there are worse ways to spend 5k
look at the car thread on here for instance
Are you able to drop weights on the floor during exercises like deadlifts?
15mm rubber matting
>dog shit power rack
>rogue plates
you're a dummy and you just wasted money
Built a dead lift platform for that
Dont need a good power rack if i dont squat more than 2 plates. Its called economics faggot.
>Dont need a good power rack if i dont squat more than 2 plates
you need decent power rack for everything besides squats you dumb fag. Enjoy fucking around with adding fucking planks under your bench because your rack has holes every 10 inches and your hooks will always be too low or too high
>Its called economics
wasting money on jew brand plates that work exactly the same as any other plates is called economics? you're an absolute brainlet
>brainlet
You cant put a price on precision
How the fuck can you not squat 2 plates at your size?
Hurts my knees and low back too much if i go heavier
are you doing it right?
At least put some cheap polyurethane on that, right now any stain will be permanent.
Your form most likely sucks, there should be no pain in your knees or lower back. Especially your knees.
Should have gotten bumper plates
/homegym/ thred?
Pic related, mine.
It’s not really a waste of money since I have a total of $600 in everything. Bought the power rack off amazon and the rogue barbell. Everything else was free at a yard sale for whoever could haul it off. Oh yeah and I bought the book.
I kinda want a safety squat bar since they’re so buttery smooth.
Also some bumper plates would be fantastic but I don’t know if I want to spend quite that much
Based hehe poster
Will do.
Post form
thats very nice for $600.. i want a home gym one day
I think bumpers are only good if you wanna do oly lifting or cant get something for deadlifts. I want a ssb as well but figure i should master real squats first
Fuuuuck 600 I'm jelly. I have a power rack and cage coming in tomorrow that are 500 together
Still trying to build up my own.
Need a few more things like some dumbbells that can hold the plates (current dumbbells are only 15Kg), ez-curl bar, some form of dip attachment and a rowing machine but it’ll do for me.
nothing feels better than using calibrated plates desu. do yourself a favor and start using rpe for big gains.
