noice, lookin lean

Sweet dreams, rotator cuff!

lol, that vid is from 18 months ago and I've not had any problems yet.. I do a hell of a lot of shoulder mobility work, as should you!

yeah doing retarded 3 rep sets makes no sense unless you are competitive strength athlete

the marginal improvement over 5 or 8 rep sets is tiny, you are just stressing the living shit out of your joints and things going that heavy

i DL twice per week, 4 sets of 8 with 2' rest in between, making many gains

Post DL

Damn, he's lifting 12pl8

>doing dl for size

Attached: unnamed.jpg (900x900, 82K)

I don't know what the fuck happened lads but I used to pull 275x5 and 315x1 and now when I pull 185x8 it feels heavy as hell

Attached: Screenshot_20171112-142116~2.png (965x1066, 1001K)

Hit 200 kg last month... I can't get it everytime yet

Your legs should be between your arms man, that's some odd lift you are doing. Definitely not a deadlift.

Not an absolute PR but I pulled 500 at BW 190 this week. Highest I’ve pulled at such a low BW and I was just fucking around.
Absolute PR was 630 when I weighed 230.

Hmmm

Have you considered trying harder?

Sumo. Still counts for PL as far as I know. Not sure about the mechanical differences, but I don’t do sumo as it’s not beneficial for me. Lots of people at my gym with big numbers do sumo though.

>sumo
He looks nothing like a sumo wrestler (see pic related for reference). I'm still waiting to see some deadlifts.

>but I don’t do sumo as it’s not beneficial for me
You do realize all of the top athletes squat and deadlift wide right? Conventional lifters are quite literally the biggest copers on earth doing an extremely unathletic movement for the extremely minimal “hip drive”

Sumo is only a nono in strongman and in the minds of people stalling at 365lb

Retard alert

At 0.00 he look like a young Russell Crowe. Then at 0.05 he look like he got Pepe the frog eye pop out syndrome

lower back injury

What weight did you guys start switching to mixed grips and does anyone use chalk? Is that a decent thing to do?

Hit 460x3 on Thursday. Hoping for 495x5 soon enough so I can officially shit on everyone in the gym.

>pulls 6pl8
>Still has sub 16" arms that are also undefined
Yep, that's gonna be a big yikes from me

I've used mixed grip since I started since it was how i was taught to DL

I use chalk whenever, just make sure your gym is okay with it

My arms are exactly 16" thank you very much

old pr. switched to sumo since

mirin t e c h n i q u e

Somebody please edit this to say RICED.

since this is a deadlift day, I strained something in my lower back, right side, doesn't feel like a hernia and it only hurts when flexing my glutes and movements related (getting up), how many days should I rest? I fucking love deadlifting and squatting guys, I hate this.

At 120kg, and yes, use chalk so the sweat doesn't fuck your grip.

thread, not day, fuck.

Lmao suited gtfo cheater

I am a weak ass DYEL AT 5'11" 150lbs. I started diddlying at the bottom with 95lbs and I'm excited to lmao2pl8 for the first time tomorrow. I am still weak as shit compared to you bros, but I am a hell of a lot fucking stronger than when I started and it feels good. We're all gonna make it.

Attached: 1540706466657.jpg (640x459, 127K)

assuming you DL once a week just wait a week if its not too bad, and take ibuprofen

desu i used to DL 3x a week with slight pain, if its not stopping you lifting then just deal with it

i probs out DL you in both stances

Looked easy, nice
Beast

>high rep count deadlifts

Attached: 1431951326467.jpg (336x327, 33K)

why are you so tiny in clothes? like you look like an average joe and yet you deadlift these massive weights? idk i dont do deadlifts so i can't speak out of experience, but if you benched like 180kg you'd have a huge chest... so this just doesnt make any logical sense?

My bench is comparatively weak to my deadlift and my squat is very average. I am like 6'1" 223 atm and like 212 in the vid you replied to. Back and hamstring size doesn't really show thru clothing

I recognise this gym

>back size doesn't show through clothing

>so few deadlifts posted

how tf you gonna see how big my back is thru a hoodie from the front lmao

Yes thank you keep posting
whatchu tryna hit at your meet in a few days?

Gonna try to hit 280+ depending on how I feel.

nice, do you lift at 93 or 105 i forget

I'm a 105, water loading right now, can't wait to not have to piss every 20 minutes.

325 lbs

More deadlift

Attached: 1527425712673.webm (640x640, 2.86M)

It looks like your face was trying to shit your eyes out of you head.
You shouldn't show this to people.

Twink behind you licked his lips from dose gloots.

Your core strength and NUERO-MUSCULAR EFFICIENCY are gone. It'll come back fast

If your arms were just an inch longer your starting position would be killer. Like my nigga Shane Nutt

I'm in the same boat. Been lifting for about 5 months. Work weight is 245 (still on lp) and my heaviest pull is 300 at 155 bw.

why don't you look like arnold s-

this, never seen such skinny wrists on a dude pulling 5+ plates

>best lift is deadlift
>not snatch

Okay bud

retard detected
You can't see his back from this angle. That being said it's really all genetics. Some people get insane amounts of hypertrophy from deads, some people get very little. I've seen guys that pull 3pl8 that are way bigger than me, I'm only 5'11'' 165lbs and I pull 550+ (conventional). Shit there are even fuckers that don't lift like these guys youtu.be/Ep3aa7he2BY?t=12
that out-size me by at least 20+lbs. Life ain't fair

>sumo

Attached: maxresdefault (2).jpg (1280x720, 15K)

as if you've ever seen a snatch

shit wrist genes desu

see:

Attached: 1537237091549.png (112x112, 8K)

I start at 315 usually so I can hit my reps, but if I want just a single before my hands fuck up I can get about 365, I have only used chalk once and never tried straps

>as strong as he is hideous
God is great

forgot to add, i dont chalk until 500+

it depends on your preference entirely and you shouldn't use other people's numbers as a reference IMO

you have no hypertrophy because you're 5'11" and 165lbs you twink

put on 50lbs

because deadlift is a complete and utter meme if you just want to look muscular

You can't just eat more and suddenly start putting on tons of mass without gaining strength. I just naturally don't respond to training very well.

no, you just don't try hard enough or take your diet seriously

165lbs at 5'11" is actual DYEL tier, anybody can get bigger than that and stay relatively lean
