Not too good atm

Not awful but not good. On my days off if I didn't go out I'll go to bed at 2am and wake up about midday. I can't get to sleep much earlier though.

10 PM to 6 AM erry day

How to do friendo

Similar here but unemployed atm so that's everyday

Usually go to bed around 11 or 12. I always wake up around 8:30 or 9 without an alarm. Even it's a Sunday or something and I was out drinking and didn't get asleep until like 3 or 4 I will still wake up around 9

just read a book or do something that makes you tired before you want to sleep

Quite fucked, but I somehow feel okay
I study full-time and work as a bartender couple evenings a week

Some nights I finish working at 5 AM and have school at 7

Same, feels good af. Lifting right when you wake up before the sun rises is really comfy. I used to be like
or even later, since my uni classes are all in the afternoon. In response to making a smooth transition is pretty difficult because if you just sleep/wakeup an hour earlier each day its likely you’ll slip up and backslide before you make it to your goal times. What I did is I had one awful day where went to bed at my normal time the night before (i.e. really late), but made myself get up at six. I had one cup of coffee when I got up but none in the afternoon. By 8 pm I was dying to get some sleep, and waking up at 6 the next morning was easy. Then going to bed at 10 the following night felt normal, and my new schedule was set. If you’re a coffee guy I would recommend not drinking any after 3 pm. People often say it only takes 4-6 hours for it to leave your system, but that’s just the half-life of caffeine, not the time for it to completely dissipate.

I usually go to sleep around 11 pm and wake up around 7:30 in the morning. Before I started OMAD Iw ould feel like shit in the morning, tired no matter how long I had slept. Now I feel much better. Overall quite happy with my sleep to be honest.

Good sleep is basically being as consistent as you can and avoiding overstimulation shortly before bed
> Get at least 7 hours sleep a night (unless you're a freak and only need 5)
>Try to always go to bed at the same time
>Only ever use your bed for sleep and sex
>No blue screen time at least an hour before
>No sugar or caffeine before
>Have a bedtime routine to help tell you're body it's sleep time soon like reading a chapter of a book with a glass of warm milk
>Temperature differences can help kickstart sleepiness so having a bath or going for a walk in the cold before bed can help you get to sleep
>If you have trouble sleeping because you can't quiet your mind try meditation or examine your mental state for any undue stress/anxiety you need to work on

I really want to learn to sleep on my back. But always end-up on my side.

not so fast user, you need to mention that DIETARY IMBALANCES can fuck up your sleep. Vit D, omega 3, etc.

Are Casper mattresses any good or do they just have a good marketing plan?

TLDW get 8-9 hours a night or suffer the consequences

Yeah I forgot that not everyone on fit has their diet sorted already.
I guess I should also mention that alcohol isn't great for sleep-quality too

I wake up every hour to take a piss so i'm probably dying or something

Was about to post this, very good information.

Sleeping is the most important factor for hypertrophy together with food and having a good program that has focus on long term cycles. Sleeping 8 hours a night is probably about minimum for people who work out a lot, I can't imagine myself sleeping less than that.

Being in a period where you sleep great is the best fucking thing in the world.
Right now I'm in a period where I have horrible sleeping patters, and it fucks up so many things..
So, sleep is king. Magnesium before sleep is really nice.
Naps are also godlike..

I chose Nolah instead because it was supposedly designed specifically for side sleepers. That and I was too heavy for a Casper at the time. It was really nice for awhile but started to give around the one year mark. After awhile I just flipped it upside down and slept on the dense base layer. Now I sleep better than when it was new.

Recently started going to bed earlier and loving it. I started levelling out; I couldn't up my strength any more and stopped gaining weight but after having a word with myself and hearing some things about how important it is to get enough quality sleep, I made the concerted effort to fix it.

Also started using a calorie counting app and hav started gaining weight and even set a new PR on deadlift and it was fairly comfortable.

confirmed, this is my routine

thx this is good

Asleep by 10 up at 5:30 has been working well for me
No phone or PC usage after 8:30. I'll usually wash up, shave and get ready for bed by 9, then read a book for an hour.
Lots of energy in the morning and throughout the day, but I get extremely tired when it's time to sleep and sleep very soundly as a result
Also magnesium sups before bed

CBD oil right before bed saved my life.

That and chamomile tea with a splash of good quality raw milk in the evening.

Don’t drink caffeinated beverages after noon

If you’re a smoker have your last cig be an hour before sleep at the latest, it’s a stimulant after all.

Change and clean sheets often. Dust mites can fuck with your breathing quality.

If you don’t live in a place with a lot of trees, get some plants that produce O2 at night, better quality air while you sleep.

Ever since I gave up fapping porn caffeine and cutting and taking a few herbs...I've not really needed to sleep much.

I sleep between 5 an 6 hours a night and no more. No matter how much I lay down and sleep.

I'm not sure if this is normal.

i slept for 20 hours yesterday and now i hurt all over

>and sleep.
and try to sleep.

most of the time i get a good 8 hrs. partner has insomnia and stays up for days on end which affects me too and screws my schedule up.

what sort of plants?

EVERY PILLOW I TRY HURTS MY NECK AND SHOULDERS FUCKING GOD DAMMIT

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>fall asleep pretty easily 10-11 pm every night
>wake up at 3 am
>still tired
>can't fall back asleep
>don't get back to sleep for another hour or two
>miss entire sleep cycle
>wake up 7-8 am
>feel like shit
>on the rare occasion i sleep through the night i feel great, but can't ever do it consistently

what to do?
