Man do you have some tips for me? I'm like this picture here right now. I signed up for gym 2 months ago but I never actually went. Not because I'm lazy or unwilling. But because I'm unsure of what to do when at the gym.

Can you give me some really basic social advice? I feel ashamed being the fat guy trying to lift 10kg weights.

Sure dude, I remember when I started I felt like shit and didnt really know what to do.

but to sum up my progress from December 2017 - Started Intermittent Fasting, lifting light weights (not giving a shit about what anyone thought about it)

January - IF 16:8, weight lifting and lowering carb intake

Feb - IF16:8, weight lifting basically cut carbs almost entirley and started eating Keto style

March to June, still Intermittent fasting, low carb and weight lifting but I started running 3km 3 times a week outside (not on a treadmil) and one 5km run on a saturday.

Tbh this is where I shifted most of the weight, can't tell you eneough if you start as a fatty - Cardio is your biggest friend, it feels shit, you never want to do it (I still hate it) but it really works.

July I started adding a core workout twice a week, about 30 -45 mins of leg raises, crunches, etc etc and that's when the lower bf and bigger core started to become evident

Just basically still do Intermittent fasting on and off, count calories, eat alot of protein, run three times a week and lift for at least an hour everyday (bro split)

You'll get there mate you just gotta keep at it - the fasting really helps with discipline

5’10” 190lbs been lifting for a good while,currently cutting from my highest ever weight because I got memed into strength training for mass. Maybe not a total meme though because my traps and back and neck got a good bit thicker.

no probs dude. Raise the wrigh t in the session or over multiple sessions? as you gain muscle you become stronger so you will start feeling the lower weights working less - that's when you up your weights.

Actually happens pretty quickly, after a few weeks you will be moving up quickly

yeah i still can't believe it, but I did it natty. I reckon I would have looked alot better now if I was enhanced! Can see the full progress on my instagram elliotdeeksfitness (cringe) but it details each month and what changed eight weight and diet wise.

Only supps I use are Whey isolate, carbkilla bars, fish oil, mukti vits, BCAA intraworkout and I'm a sucker for a strong pre workout

6'3" 88kg and about a year and 3 months lifting. I lift 5 days a week. 3 days I do pressing (bench/OHP), 2 tricep accessories, lateral raises, and cable curls. Other 2 days I do mainly back (pull-ups, rows, lat pulldowns, facepulls etc) and some legs and abs thrown in too.

I only started doing abs a couple weeks back so they still don't look great. Leg raises are great for them.

Am I a wristlet?

I’m 6’2 with 7 inch wrists it’s pretty embarrassing.

Is it noticeable?

It sucks not only aesthetically but also my joints are weak too cause of how small they are. Like it hurts so even do OHP

I always look way less full in the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I still look like shit, but slightly less so after I’ve eaten and hydrated (and worked out) throughout the day.

Switched last Wednesday to 5x8 with 3-5 minutes rest in between sets instead of 2x5, 1xAMRAP 90sec between sets.
The bump in volume has helped a lot with strength plateaus.
Was benching 180 for 5/5/10
Yesterday got 195 for 5/5/5/5/4.
Max 230x1 and it’s so slow and terrible that I’d never do it with the chance of anyone watching it
