I'm currently doing SS with chins, dips and abs added to every workout. Also db rows instead of power cleans.

I want to get to 1/2/3/4 then focus on aesthetics. What happens if I still do my routine but 3x8 instead of 3x5?

Programs don't matter. Just lift and then lift more. Once you've done that for a couple years then you can worry about programs

4/week -> brosplit
5-6/week -> push/pull/legs split

literally just do a brosplit but do heavy 5x5 on compound lifts, eat enough healthy food. you'll make it in no time unless u have virgin genes.
