When did you first realize no one on this board knows *anything*?

Like, the most basic fucking questions are left unanswered here. No one can even regurgitate information in the fucking sticky. People were shocked to know that Reddit PPL is a thing when it is one of the first beginner programs mentioned.

I'm convinced all the meming about whether or not SS is a good program isn't about "fucking with the noobs" but is based in genuine confusion, uncertainty, and fear. And don't even try to talk about anything past a beginner program; no one has made it that far!

I mean really, this is some disappointing shit.

PPL is shit lol

That's not the point, dumbass. The point is people should know it exists.

Dunno about that, but tell me about the picture

>dumbass
sure thing retard lol

No actually you're the one who is retarded.

Attached: 1538969242766.gif (250x187, 38K)

Not if your goal is looking like zac effron

You wish, I don't look to this place for advice or helpful information because I'm not a retard

Lifting 6 days a week is categorically shit. You shouldn't do it, you shouldn't do PPL, there's more effective, less likely to get you burnt our or injured ways to lift you dumb fuck.

The overwhelming majority of advice on this board is fucking horrible. It makes people that actually do know what they're talking about go insane and leave. People being retarded on here just creates this cycle where the retardation forces out the good info and feeds back into itself. I just come here for the laughs now, the advice is trash

Different routines don't magically give different results. You're one of the retards OP is talking about kek

You have to realize this is a Vietnamese book club forum, most people on it are social rejects and more or less autistic. Those of us that do know what we’re doing realize pretty quickly that the only things worth posting are shitposts and b8s because some retarded newbie who read some meme shit once is going to attempt to belittle your genuine advice thinking he’s a lifting guru because he has a subscription to muscle and fitness. There’s so many retards meming like the fasters for example that it’s a joke to come here not expecting some bullshit.

That being said most of us know SS is supposed to be used for two reasons. Either you want to begin powerlifting in which case it’s a great introduction to the sport, or you’re a skelly who can barely bench the bar for 10 reps in which case you should run a simple strength gaining program for about 6 months just to get a strength foundation to them build size off of.

What I meant to say, was that if you want genuine and good fitness advice, seek out a forum for just lifting. The underground was ones with boomers are the best because those guys know what generally works and have a lot to offer. Some will be blue pulled as hell but there’s usually some pretty redpilled guys on those sites. Just don’t tell them you can from here kek

>SS
>powerlifting

You're one of the dunning kruger retards OP is talking about. It's not for powerlifting, it's a beginner strength program. It's not going to get you aesthetic, but it is going to put on a large amount of lean mass and quickly move you through your linear progression so you can continue building muscle, start fixing weaknesses and build work capacity.

Stfu and get off the board doofus

Attached: Capture+_2018-11-05-17-17-49.png (713x631, 821K)

>never read the sticky

>actually caring on Jow Forums
You're right, but you're also emotionally invested, probably because you're used to reddit. You're anonymous. You have no reputation. I bench lmao5pl8 for reps so you should listen to me. Suck my dick.

>Lists why SS can help you get into power-lifting
HURRRRRR DURRR IT DOSE NOT HELP WITH POWERLIFTING HURR
god you are dumb

I dish good advice to people just asking questions.
I give horrible advice to anyone who smells like pol.
Balance in all things.

>it's a beginner strength program
You don't get stronger on that program.
You just do powerlifting movements like a faggot till you can't bully your body into lifting anymore.
That's it.

There are plenty of active blue collar men who don't know the difference between a barbell and a dumbbell who're stronger then the average faggot SS loser can ever hope to be.

Shock, horror, people shit post on an anonymous forum

You're being ignored for asking dumb ass shit that's been talked to death NEWFAG

Lmao cuck i bet your advice is shit in both cases.
I dont even try on this site anymore, used to help the guys who came to me in the gym but now i just tell them to do trt

Holy shit you're both idiots that know nothing about programming or adaptation if you think that SS is anything but a beginner strength program. It's fine to run for your first 3 months, to until your linear progression stalls, depending on your choice, regardless of your goals.

Imagine being this dumb. Not retarded, not autistic, you’re just dumb. Actually dumb. I said it’s a beginner strength routine. I said it’s good to get started. You have now said the same exact thing while simultaneously claiming I’m an idiot for making such claims. The program not only builds newbie strength, more importantly it teaches you the fucking forms for the sport you absolute fucking dip.

All I said was it's not a powerlifting program, which is what you called it. Understand what you are talking about. What helps you get into powerlifting is deciding to do a meet, not what program you do your first 3 months lifting.

Post body. We all know your advice is asshole either way, but it's still weird that you're proud of the fact that you shitpost worse than the pol bogeyman that lives in your gay head rent free

nice post brainlet

Attached: IMG_0222.jpg (840x700, 116K)

>it’s not for powerlifting, a sport based around strength output for 3 different movements
>it’s actually a strength routine in which you train 3 specific movements

Attached: D772ABF5-7A02-4E00-87E7-9CEA10AB9597.gif (445x250, 1.78M)

>you train to get stronger in only 3 specific movements
You actually train 4 main barbell compounds, have a smaller emphasis on a 5th, and then have other bodyweight compounds that round out the upper body volume. Please continue to not know what you're talking about.

Show me where I said starting strength was made as a powerlifting program.

I said it’s a great introduction to the sport. I even called it a “strength program” word for word. Jesus Christ how have you survived this long? I’m genuinely asking. How have you managed to wake up, feed yourself, bathe, and just exist this long? Do you have tard wranglers keeling a watchful eye 24/7 Incase you choke on your own tongue or something?

found the SS fag

>ummm actually uh....
Yes and the 3 main are the core of it, as Rippetoe says in his book. It doesn’t make them any more important than the rows, OHP, or the cleans. They are simply the core lifts that it’s centered around.

You forgot there were pull ups you retard. Clearly you've never run the routine

nice peer reviewed study to support your unsubstantiated claim

Ran**
I bet you haven’t done much running aside from all the shit in your life that scares you bitch
Oh right because I didn’t type that pull-ups are in the original write up for the very modifiable routine I’m the retard. Last I saw it looks like you cannot even read properly , address this cunt first then come for me, dyel.

Whose the chick in the back

Post body :)

Imagine convincing yourself that this wins an argument. The classic Jow Forums beta equivalent of a girlfriend saying “you have a small dick!” when she realizes she’s wrong. You have had a girlfriend before haven’t you?

Imagine being so retarded you don't know what constitutes whether a program is good or not.

Who said ppl has to be 6 days a week?

That's almost as retarded as doing PPL 6x per week.

>have a bachelors in Exercise Science
>have my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist cert.
>work a fitness related job

I still dont add anything valuable to the board

Attached: 1473799312511.jpg (600x653, 41K)

My bad

**Who said PPL has to be 6 days a week?

imagine being so retarded you just believe in broscience instead of real science.

And than you complain Jow Forums doesn't know anything.

It should be a law that anyone giving advice or criticism here needs to post their body. That includes you OP

Nope, I don't have to do what you tell me. My body is based though.

>just came here for the laughs
>everyone is acting retarded
uhh

cope

not how that meme is used, el redito

You spelled retardo wrong, I’ll help you out
Retardo

Nope I used it right. You're coping with the fact you have a shit body but think you know it all. You can't honestly sit here on this board and say you know better than anyone here on how to workout when you don't even post results supposedly gained from your own advice.

Took me 5 mins, as it should ANYONE whos not retarded.
More than half these retards have been lifting for less than 3 months
The remainder are people who dont lift at all who are trying to fit in for some reason
Then 1% steroid users that scream "hes roiding" at any photo and make fun of any person who looks better than them because insecurities is why they roid in the first place

Attached: 1527478470803.jpg (1080x1349, 190K)

if SS is a meme what's a good begineer routine please help me

>implying you could

Attached: 1529209694467.gif (500x346, 471K)

>come on Jow Forums
>weigh 340 pounds
>can’t even climb a set of stairs
>eat ice cream and candy every day
>give workout advice to anons trying to improve themselves

Dude I can't stand listening to your jargon anymore. I've read the entire thread. The fact that you talk a lot of shit that you can not back makes me believe that you do a lot of reading and not a lot of lifting. How Can you give advice to people without truly understanding what you are saying? The answer is you can't ..... You can not tell someone something without knowing if it works or not. You have no experience lifting. You hardly know anything. Everything you do know you read in a book or stole from someone else. You have no factual eveidence that it works. You just take advice from credible sources and post them as your own....As an aspiring personal trainer, who has actually spent time working in a gym, watching and criticizing and experimenting. Stop posting. You don't know what youre talking about. You know it too.

literally just do a bro split but hit the compound lifts heavy with 5x5, this works unless u have shit genetics i guess idk.

I came here to get away from bananas posters on /b/ and stayed because some of the more mature guys here are decent people
Then I started lifting out of boredom and used common sense to come up with my own routine
If I posted it people here would try their hardest to find something wrong with it but I hit 1/2/3/4 in 7 months and normies think I look good
As with politics and most everything in today's culture the people who know the least are usually the loudest and most outspoken and drown out moderate, logical reasoning
I've slept with 30 girls and I give advice in the r9k virgin threads and I get no replies while betas and aspiring pickup artist tier retards get 5+ replies every. single. time.

>giving advice to FUCKING Jow Forums EVER

I've tried it too user, they're a lost cause. Can't help those that don't want to be helped.

I do pplpplx. Lifting little less than 2 years.
Bench - 275x3
Squat - 415x3
Deadlift - 460x3

Or, we know better than following through with your childish demand of “post body” and that angers you, it’s a non argument put forth by fools and only a bigger fool would humor it

Watch out he’s gonna ask you to post body in a second

This is my experience too. I could post a video of me maxing and I wouldn’t be surprised if got replies from these autists saying it was a fake video somehow, I’ve teally come to expect it. So now I post b8 and start arguments that I know they’ll end up losing kek

Attached: C6153DA8-E4EC-43B5-847F-AFD8D3348D56.gif (244x184, 339K)

fun fact op, pretty much every interest board on here is full of people who dont really know what they're talking about but act like they do. you're better off going to an actual bodybuilding forum or watching videos, looking at studies, etc on your own then listening to what people on Jow Forums have to say.

You're an idiot. Its like going to Jow Forums and telling people how to make money but not telling how much money you've made with the strategies you're teaching. You wont post your body because you know you'll get roasted to hell on here. I wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing is a troll thread anyway.

The sticky is horribly outdated

>When did you first realize no one on this board knows *anything*?
DUDE DON'T DO CARDIO
HOLY FUCK I LOVE GLUTEN
TFW NO GF

a long time ago, sticky and lols is all Jow Forums is good for

Like 6 months into working out. It's almost like asking people that don't even know you for advice on shit they don't understand very well due to getting it explained to them in anonymous shitposts is a bad idea. And that's when they're not completely retarded to begin with.

Aubrey Sinclair - Pumpkin fuck

Source?

What will you consider to be an ideal beginner routine?

>you lift more than me
>must be drugs

Its just the rite of way in fitness to navigate around these incompetent guys

I have friends who just started lifting and will try to give me advice

I just try to be positive and encourage them to lift and have fun their own way, whatever makes you keep coming to the gym for years to come. Sometimes the stuff they say is really things i forgot about or havnt really delve into, but usually its just them being memed.

It used to be frustrating for me but it doesnt bother me anymore. Ill talk to the most stubborn guy just to practice communicating my methods better. And hey if they listened maybe theyll like what i do and imitate my progress.

Chad once told me this. He went over a thousand exercises to do on day one and I never tried it again.

All I want to be able to do is chin ups and then pull ups without elbow or shoulder pain. I have no clue how to go about this and I'm starting to believe I will never make it.
