Seeing discussion on Jow Forums over mewing, bruxism and its effect on the jawline I decided to post my experience.
First of all, bruxism definitely makes your jawline more define, I am evidence of it. I have an issue where I only clench my teeth on the left side of my mouth, and it's quite noticeable that the right side of my mouth is roundish, while the left side of my mouth is quite squareish and well defined.
On the other hand, the squareish definition is not too noticeable. It's noticeable if I tell you and you pay attention to it, but it's not a big deal, and I've been a bruxer for 5+ years.
What I know of it so far is that, assuming it's not stress, or drugs, it's a mix of breathing problems (sleep apnea) and perhaps night time acid reflux (google acidification + bruxism)
This is totally undesirable ofc, and not worth any squareing of the jawline because
>sleep bruxism as a result to poor sleep fucks with gains
>fucks with your teeth
>means your stomach is fucked, likely not digesting food properly
If you do a slight google on acidification + bruxism, you'll see the pictures of the teeth of all the people who has this terrible combination of OSA, GERD and bruxism, and in the end, who cares about your jaw if your smile will scare even satan.
I've been struggling hard on this fight, but if researchers say that esophageal acidification is a cause for bruxism, I do not know how to stop this if it happens in the middle of the night, unless I wake up to do something about it, which defeats the purpose of having a good sleep.
I might try mewing and see what happens.
