Serratus

pushups

called ribbs, get new bones

Drunk mountain climbers worked good for me

Diddly, jefferson diddly, anything compund that uses your core to stabilize

These are called obliques. Doing side-to-side ab stuff should help build these.

Russians twists and barbell twists are what I do.

I just do pullups pushups and dips and I have those well defined. Bf% is part of it too

No those are ribs your obliques are lower

It's called serratus anterior and its role is to stabilize the shoulders. You grow it by doing overhead work (ohp, overhead squat, etc), pushups and punching things

>serratus anterior
this man is correct
you need to retake highschool anatomy brother

Better genetics 1xF

biggest function of serratus ant is pulling your scapula forward. this is what happens in a punch where you fully extend your arm before your body (not just lockout with neutral scapula but actually as far as you can with scapula forward), this is why its often called the boxers mscle its bcs no one else (not the ppl in the gym) does that.
good way to train it is at the top position of your dips, dont just lock out and go at it again, but try to create as much distance as possible between your chest and the bars (by rounding your scapula and "pushing trough")

Thats a muscle covering ribs, serratus anterior.

>punching things
This is a bad picture but yeah. I was boxing five to six times a week back when this was taken. I miss looking like that.

I don't really do overhead things though

would serratus punches using bands work just as good?

easiest way is to do heavy overhead presses, push ups where you really push yourself up when you get into neutral position and get a bag and learn how to punch

got mine when I did ss + boxing

Leg raises isolate obliques, not the serratus.

Yeah they're worked in them but not isolated, so I deleted post

Boxing is a great way to get them

>I'm a fighter

why lift when it's all about the face

Your arms look fucking disgusting

OHP, overhead side bends, and whatever you call the thing that is like skullcrushers but with arms completely straight.
