And more specifically, we're talking about people who do strength training and not just run on the treadmill or pick up a couple 20s and do a couple curls. If you can not bench 225 pounds, you are weak. If you can only bench 225 pounds, you are still weak, but 225 is the entry point into serious strength training on the benchpress. Up until that point, all you are really doing is adding 5lbs to your 5x5 every other day. That is not serious strength training. This is something anyone could do with just a little dedication and drive.

So yes, 225 is entry level you fucking dyel, get off my board.
