>His resting heart rate isn't sub 50 bpm
His resting heart rate isn't sub 50 bpm
>started jogging 3 week ago.
lets see what we at right now
Health noob here.
What's the purpose of having a lower resting heart rate?
To laugh at those who actually have to exert more energy just to live.
72
whenever I try to take mine it gets faster
so how do i lower this? just keep running 5km 3 times a week and go from my current "little faster then walking" to actual hogging speed?
That, plus practicing proper breathing while doing so. You want to be jogging while breathing smoothly, no panting. Get to the point where you can jog at least 20 minutes without ever opening your mouth, only breathing with your nose. Obviously start slow, and work your way up.
eat healthy
zero athletes on earth breathe through their nose when jogging.
i probably eat healthier then you.
well i can do that. but thats because i do all my 5km runs in a pace where i dont run out of breath. so pretty slow.
Cool, then just start increasing the pace little by little
Maybe so. I'm just stating what worked for me in regards to lowering my heart rate. I'm sure professional athletes could give two shits about what their resting heart rate is.
what makes you think that
>me: 210 pounds at 6'
>resting heart rate around 90
Not doing any cardio at all because getting in 3600 calories is hard as is so burning an extra 200 or smth on top of that would be overkill
Should I be concerned?
>Above 0
Never gonna make it
19 yrs old btw
>tfw anxious at all times
>tfw resting hr of mid 80s from this
Bullshit.
>64
I'm gonna die
>go to measure heart rate
>get nervous and it jumps from 50 to 70
fucks sake
See a doctor, OP.
>Bradycardia is a slower than normal heart rate. The hearts of adults at rest usually beat between 60 and 100 times a minute. If you have bradycardia (brad-e-KAHR-dee-uh), your heart beats fewer than 60 times a minute.
>Bradycardia can be a serious problem if the heart doesn't pump enough oxygen-rich blood to the body.
Whomst /48/
but that's wrong nigger, with good cardio you can be safe down to 40 bpm
what heart rate is correlated with the longest you can life?
Boomer post of the day
I'm 210 at 6'2" and my resting bpm is sub 50
Am I going to make it?
doesnt matter, just try to not have 0 for too long
I have a paralympic patient who stays at 38bpm, so in conclusion, you are wrong.
I'm 6'2" and your heart rate is what mine was when I was 300+ pounds and not doing any cardio.
Same lmao
To the hospital? Possibly.
it matter for people that wanna be 100
Resting heart rate isn’t ~93
Enjoy the bad blood flow and oxygen deprivation
>weak heart has to work overtime just to give him enough oxygen and blood
>Jealous of stronger hearts that require less beats to do same amount of work
When will heartlets learn
Heart rate is around 70-80
Stand up, sit down or lwalk 5 steps.
Shoots up to 100.
Run for a few minutes
Sits around 90
>guess I need more cardio
I take 25 mg ephedrine and 6-800 mg caffeine 3x a day and my RHR and BP while on good doses was 56-64 (easy to check) 120/70 (only checked once)
No, it's not. Mine's only about 60. That's pretty good, user. Keep at it.
are you 300 pounds by chance
300lb=150 kg
I’m 90.
No, 180lb
28yo male
~90bpm resting HR
215lb, 6'1 about 28% bf according to my scale.
SS for a month and a half
Am I going to die soon?
>tfw rhr is 65
never gonna make it
App?
it shows how efficient your cardiovascular system is. It means your heart doesn't have to work as hard to pump enough blood for the rest of your body to function normally. You have a strong heart or very little vasoconstriction or just both
it take months of consistent cardio to lower your bpm by just a few beats.
years if you want to lower it by 10+ bpms.
Make sure that you measure the resting heart rate. Resting really means doing nothing. Watching TV, reading or even just thinking stuff will increase your heart rate.
drinking fluids raise heart rate. So take your resting heart rate as soon as you wake up or some shit.
It depends on the person. If you are really out of shape, you will see a huge increase with little effort. If you are already semi-fit you will need to work for each bpm. I mean it's like with everything in life. You can become fairly competent in something in very little time, but to become great you need to spend exponentially more time.
48 bpm lying in bed, i do a lot of cardio (cycling) probably 10 hours a week
I just counted and my heart beat is 88 bpm. I weigh 142 lbs.
Can still run 3:45 minute kilometers
