No

Unless you are turbolanklet xxx-treme, no. It is beginner tier. Forget about your bodyweight-to-lift ratio, it's a garbage measure.

maybe if its incline
and then still no

It is the mark of having arrived to the intermediate level. You are no longer a weak man.

1.5x bodyweight is the big boy goal, and I hope you make it.

Not at all

Benching 200 as a 200lb man is intermediate? Wtf.

For fit no, but for a well ajusted normal person, bw is a lot.

>You are no longer a weak man
>benching bodyweight
pick one

>1.5x bodyweight is the big boy goal
benching bodyweight x2 is the big boy goal, everythig below is being advanced at best

If you're 6'4+ then yea thats pretty good.

i weight 93kg and i can bench 50kg

I weigh 63 kg and I bench 65 kg.

im 62kg, 5'9 and only bench 43kg for 10 reps :( been lifting for almost a year

No it's not.

I'm 77kg and can bench 80-90 inclined.

is benching 105kg at 75kg impressive?

Better side of average.

>t. powerfattier

Arm length is a factor.
A normal human being, being at least 6,2, has will do nearly 100ft/lbs more work benching 190 than a halfling benching 190.

100ft/lbs is the difference in work done. So pretty much the normal height person requires the additional power of a 2000 Honda Civic.

I'm 65kg, 5'8 and only bench 47.5kg for 10 reps :( been also lifting for almost a year, how many kcals do you eat per day? I'm steadily increasing I went from barely 2200 to 3000 in 10 months

yes, but the 6'2'' human will have mor skeletal mass and better leverages to produce energy, so it somewhat evens out

large men always produce more force than small men

Maybe kg?

Bet your 5’6 also

I'm 78kg and bench 90×4, am I intermediate?

>well adjusted person

yes good job

I am a lean manlet, think again.

lmao get a load of this retard.

a 1x bodyweight bench moves you from "untrained" to "beginner"

>better leverages to produce energy
Oh Jesus Christ.

a pushup is 2/3rds of bodyweight. So, benching bw is just 33% heavier than a pushup - not really "impressive"

That said, 90% of population can't do it so you should be proud of yourself OP :) we're all gonna make it

You should be able to bench both your parents

I can rep out my BW.

Btw, when people say "I bench x kg" do they mean 1 rep or many reps? And how many reps if more than 1 rep?

is 95kg at 70kg good?

Yes

desu

>what is wilks
Most competitions are based on bodyweight and total ratio

Is benching 85 kg 10 times as 85 kg person good?

Thats like "ive been coming here long enough to not be a noob" tier

With dumbbells yes

Jow Forums standards? fuck no
normalfag standards? well yeah barely anyone can do a fucking pullup but hey that's the world we live in

I'm 85kg and bench 105kg.

Kek, no

I'm 65kg and a bench 110kg! I'm a big boy!

No

legitimate answer: body weight means you've gotten past the beginner stage and you've got some power to you

anyone who's telling you it's "weak" are faggots who are just trolling

>tfw my fat ass has to bench 475 to meet Jow Forums requirements.

I'm 6'3" 160 pounds, how much should I be benching?

You're not a big boy but a strong boy.

It would be basically just a reverse push-up, so no.

user, I ......

I benched 125kg and im 85kg.

Attached: 1541877454414.png (937x686, 802K)

Almost, i'm 5"11

>6'4 80kg
>45kg bench
Fucking help

Yall are weak. Im 62kg and bench 105kg flat 95 incline

Are you 5% bf or 5'3?

5’7 14%
Kinda have twig legs due to a knee injury. If they were proportional id be at least 70kg

eat
please

its a great measure for weighted body weight exercises, like chins and pullups

kys retard

Bodyweight ratio is a twinkcel cope Tbh

youtu.be/l6LWHNSdTM4

>benching your bodyweight
heh, what a bunch of amateurs

I'm 5'6 :(

>100kg 1rm
>66kg bodyweight
Mogged. All of you.

Not at all. And the worst part about that is I've been a skelly my whole life and after lifting religiously for 3 years only now can I bench my bodyweight. I'm a hard gainer with low T but my Dr wouldn't prescribe me anything because even though it was like 250 the dumb bitch considered it in the normal range so now I'm just waiting until I get the courage to blow my fucking head off

I weigh 155 and bench 160 for reps

No it's literally the same as a push-up which even normie non-lifters can do, 75 or more times without stopping.

"Benching bodyweight" one time is absolutely pathetic by comparison, and anyone who tells you anything to the contrary is a coping weak puss.

Attached: 1528573742208.jpg (332x332, 13K)

Benching 2.5x bw is big boy goal anything less is babbys first lifting attempt tier.

130kg at 77kg good?

I'm 63kg 5'7 And I benched 80kg 1 rep after year

ur retarded if you think you are pressing your entire bodyweight in a pushup. are your feet hovering over the floor or what?

>No it's literally the same as a push-up
except half of your weight is supported by your feet and never leaves ground

no, unless it's your 10RM

140 would be ok, 130 is not ok. That 10kg difference feels like 50kg

How long does it take to build a decent bench starting from basically zero? By decent I mean the gymbros stop making fun and bullying you.

2 years

are you me? kek

symmetricstrength.com/standards

unless you are fat af, benching your bw is novice tier

>No it's literally the same as a push-up

you're braindead
